Government High School Chandigarh Sector 47 A

Inauguration of Yuva Tourism club

An official inauguration of Yuva Tourism club was done by the Government High School Chandigarh Sector 47 A, in the presence of the Principal Mrs.Urmila Rani ,Head Teacher In-charge for YTC Sulakhan Sing and other Teacher coordinators. A pledge on Travel for Life was taken by all the students of Yuva Tourism Club during the event.

Tour to Japanese garden

The Yuva Club of Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education Chandigarh, organized an educational visit, Headed by Teacher Coordinator for YTC Mrs.Gitika Kapoor to Japanese Garden, Sector- 31,Chandigarh. The Japanese garden has a good variety of plants which helped the students to gain first-hand information on the different types of plants. The Students explored the Japanese garden to investigate the properties of medicinal plants, learnt the plants generic and scientific names and to which plant family they belong to. The Students have taken extensive notes on a variety of plants from different sections of the garden. The Students were able to know about the rich Japanese culture.

The Yuva Tourism Club of Maharishi Dayanand Adarsha Vidyalaya Sector 22-A, organised a poster making activity on the occasion of World Heritage Day. The main motive was to get the students to be more aware about our rich culture and heritage also to promote the talents in students.

Induction on Tourism for Students

The Yuva Tourism Club of Saint Soldier International School, Sec 28 Chandigarh conducted activities under the banner of Yuva Tourism Club. A lecture session was delivered on ‘How travelling can be a stress buster!’ For the students of class 10 and 12. Students of class 6 and 7 were briefed about the importance of tourism in our country. Students of class 8 and 9 enjoyed the activity in which they had to prepare a checklist / To- do list while planning for a tour.

Tree plantation drive

The Yuva Club of Government High School Sector 19 D Chandigarh, Organised a sensitization program for their Yuva tourism club students about the importance of tourism in the country and lecture session was also given on importance of biodiversity. A Tree plantation drive was also carried out in school.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Chamoli, Uttarakhand

Conducted Logo Designing Competition

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Chamoli YTC Uttarakhand conducted a logo designing competition. The objective of the competition was to create a logo that would represent the school's vision, mission, and values. The logo should be simple, yet striking, and should be able to capture the attention of the viewer. The competition was judged by a panel of experts, who evaluated the logos based on their creativity, originality, and relevance to the school's mission. In the end, the judges selected three winning logos. The first prize was awarded to a logo designed by the student The winning logos were displayed at the school's annual function. The students who designed the winning logos were felicitated by the school authorities. The logo designing competition was a great success. It helped to promote creativity and innovation among the students. It also helped to create a sense of ownership and pride among the students for their school.

Inauguration of Yuva Tourism Club

Ministry of Tourism (Northern Region), Government of India has formed the "Yuva Tourism Club" in “S D Senior Secondary School Sector 24, Chandigarh”. All students of the school were briefed regarding the vision and mission of Yuva Tourism club also made them aware as to how it will be helpful for them in their future endeavors. As a part of the Official Inauguration under the guidance of Mr. Umesh Dutt, Head in charge for Yuva tourism club in S D Senior Secondary School had motivated the students to come up with drawings and paintings of tourism destinations in India. The Travel for Life Pledge to be a member of the network of Pro Planet People for Sustainable Tourism under the Life Movement was also taken actively by all the students of the school. The event was conducted in the presence of the principal, Dr. Nisha Gupta and all teacher in-charge of the school.

Ministry of Tourism (Northern Region), Government of India has formed the "Yuva Tourism Club" in "Government Model Senior Secondary School” Kaimbwala Chandigarh. A brief session on the Vision of Yuva Tourism Club was communicated to all the students during the official event. Students of the Yuva Tourism Club also took the Travel for Life Pledge to be a member of the network of Pro Planet People for Sustainable Tourism under the Life Movement. The event was hosted and conducted In the presence of Vice principal, Shri Sohan sharma.

Govt Model High School Sector 42B Chandigarh

International museum day, Awareness program & Virtual tour.

On the special occasion of International Museum Day, Students of Yuva Tourism club Government Model High School Sector 42B, were given an awareness session of how museums contribute to the nations tourism also the importance of the museums. A brief was also given to the students on this year’s theme of International Museum Day-2023, which is ‘Museums, Sustainability and Well-being,’ as part of MISSION LIFE (LIFESTYLE FOR ENVIRONMENT). A Virtual Tour was given to all the students which covered the museums in Chandigarh. Students were really excited to have a virtual tour which covered the International Doll museum, Government Museum and Art Gallery, National History Museum Chandigarh, Chandigarh Architecture museum, National gallery of portraits Chandigarh.
