To mark the importance of Yoga Day a celebration was undertaken at Shivalik Public School, Sector 41-B, Chandigarh. Yuva Tourism Club Students and Teachers doing asanas clearly indicated that Yoga incorporates meditations, stretches and breathing exercises that help reduce stress, relaxes and rejuvenates the mind and body. The school under the guidance of our worthy Director Mr. D.S.Bedi has always made a conscience effort to incorporate Yoga in everyday life of Teachers and Students.

Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School Chandigarh, An activity was conducted under the Yuva Tourism Club. The main objective of this activity was to enhance the students' knowledge about the different millets grown across India and to promote their use. Students created display boards for their selected millets. The students used materials such as real millets, pictures and displayed the health benefits, farming conditions and percentage of minerals and proteins found in different millets.

On the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, which was celebrated on June 21, 2023, a yoga session was conducted for the students and faculty members of GMSSSS School. The session aimed to promote the practice of yoga and its numerous benefits for physical and mental well-being. The yoga session took place in a serene environment, with a designated area set up for the participants. The session began with a warm welcome and introduction to the significance of International Day of Yoga. The participants were encouraged to embrace the practice of yoga as a means to lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle. A qualified and experienced yoga instructor led the session, guiding the participants through a series of yoga asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises). Kendriya Vidyalaya Organizes Yoga Session on International Yoga Day On June 21, 2023, Kendriya Vidyalaya organized a yoga session to mark International Yoga Day. The session was held in the school's auditorium and was attended by students, teachers, and staff. The session was led by a yoga instructor and began by leading the participants in a series of warm-up exercises, then demonstrated a variety of yoga poses, including sun salutations, standing poses, and seated poses. The participants were encouraged to follow along with the instructor's instructions. The session lasted for about an hour. At the end of the session, the instructor answered questions from the participants. He also gave some tips on how to incorporate yoga into their daily lives. The participants enjoyed the yoga session and found it to be a relaxing and beneficial experience. They said that they would like to participate in more yoga sessions in the future.

Report on Yuva Tourism Club Event at Linton Hall School On June 15, 2023, the Ministry of Tourism Government of India (North region) organized a Yuva Tourism Club event at Linton Hall School in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. The event was attended by students of grade 7. The event began with an introduction to the Yuva Tourism Clubs, its importance and need and about scope, types and possible tourism activities in the state to promote economic development, growth, culture, cuisines & handicrafts of Jammu & Kashmir. The students came up with a number of creative ideas, including: A hiking and camping trip to the Kashmir Valley. A food festival showcasing the cuisine of Jammu and Kashmir. A handicrafts workshop where students could learn to make traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. The students also took the Travel for LIFE pledge, which is a commitment to promoting sustainable tourism. The Travel for LIFE pledge includes promises to: Respect local cultures and traditions Protect the environment Support local businesses & Travel responsibly. The event concluded with a speech by Mrs. Farhat Aslam, Principal of Linton Hall School. Mrs. Aslam spoke about the importance of sustainability for tourism and urged the students to be ambassadors for sustainable tourism. The Yuva Tourism Club event at Linton Hall School was a success and the students were very enthusiastic about the Yuva Tourism Clubs. The event helped to raise awareness of sustainable tourism and the importance of tourism for economic development.
