The Government of India has declared August 23rd as "National Space Day" to honour the monumental success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. To commemorate this achievement, the Ministry of Tourism, through the "National Space Day" to honour the monumental success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. To commemorate this achievement, the Ministry of Tourism, through the Tourism Club, organized an interclass competition at MAPS. Students enthusiastically participated in quizzes, poster making, and essay writing, with top winners to be awarded by the Ministry to foster a passion for space exploration.

On the occasion of National Space Day on 23rd. August, 2024 – Suraj Bhan D.A.V. Public School, Vasant Vihar had organised a painting competition for the middle school (VI – VIII) and secondary wing (std. IX-X). The theme of the painting competition was – ‘India’s Achievement in Space Science’. About 500 students had enthusiastically participated in this competition and the output was spellbound.

Indiatourism Delhi, Ministry of Tourism, organised activities on National Space Day for the students of Yuva Tourism Club of NC Jindal Public School, Punjabi Bagh on 23.8.2024. "National Space Day" to commemorate the historic success of the incredible Chandrayaan-3 Mission which accomplished a safe and soft landing of the Vikram Lander and deployed the Pragyaan rover on the lunar surface near the South Pole. To mark this achievement, Poster Making and Essay writing competitions were organised for the students on 23rd August 2024. Students showcased and honoured the extraordinary achievements of space missions and the wonders of the cosmos. A documentary film was also shown to the students, based on the space missions ,which inspired younger generations to pursue careers in science, Space and technology.

Yuva Tourism Club of Rosary Sr. Sec. School, Radio Colony, Delhi 9 celebrated Independence day week by inviting Major Nitin Jose, an alumnus of the school, as a chief guest for the Recognition day.
