Marking the spirit of National Tourism Day, Devbhoomi Uttarakhand University hosted an enlightening online session, delving deep into the theme of "Sustainable Journeys, Timeless Memories." Showcasing Sustainable Solutions: University Dean Shri Mahesh Uniyal learned about the "Tourism for Tomorrow" competition organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. This initiative encourages recording replicable sustainability case studies, offering valuable solutions for the industry. Sharing Global Knowledge: Joining the conversation was Dr. Bivek Datta, Vice Principal of the Nepal College of Travel & Tourism Management in Kathmandu. His contribution enriched the session with valuable insights and international perspectives on sustainable tourism practices. Inspiring Sustainability Through Education: The session aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of practicing responsible and sustainable tourism. Leading the discussion, Dr. Swarna Gupta, representing Travel for Life, shed light on their mission to conserve the environment and promote ethical travel practices. India Tourism Delhi organized an online quiz competition on tourism and heritage of India in November 2023, with participation from 11,500 students representing 2,000 schools in the Northern Region of the Yuva Tourism Club. Out of them, 300 students emerged as winners. On January 27, 2024, Ms. Manisha Saxena, the Director General of the Ministry of Tourism, distributed awards to the winners from Delhi NCR at the Lawns of Red Fort during the Bharat Parv event. A total of 148 students from Delhi NCR were honored, and Shri RK Suman, Regional Director North India Tourism Delhi, also addressed the Yuva Tourism Club students.

Yuva Tourism Club of Rosary Sr. Sec. school, Radio Colony, Delhi, under the leadership and guidance of School's Principal Rev. Fr. Savariraj organised a tableau competition to celebrate National Tourism Day on January 25, 2024. Tableau of Assam, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu were displayed. The competition was held in the assembly. All school students witnessed it. Col. Vikas Hooda was the Chief Guest of the day. He judged the competition and declared the result. A drama skit was also enacted to enlighten students about the Constitution and citizen's rights.

Indiatourism Delhi, in collaboration with the Yuva Tourism Club of Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind, Haryana, fervently celebrated National Tourism Day on January 25. Dr. Vivek Baliyan, Assistant Professor in the Tourism and Hotel Department at Central University Haryana, Mahendragarh, shared his thoughts during the event. A quiz competition related to National Tourism Day and tourist places of India topics were organized, and winning students were awarded by the Ministry of Tourism. A cultural program was also organised by Yuva Tourism Club of this University during the occasion. YTC students pledged for "Travel for Life." Sh Pankaj Kumar Assistant Professor of tourism faculty briefed about how to promote tourist destinations.

An online Webinar was organized by India Tourism Jaipur (Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India) in association with Nirwan University Jaipur to celebrate National Tourism Day on 25th January 2024. The keynote addresses were given by Dr. Sunita Badhwar, Vice President, Standards with Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council, Dr Abhishek Kumar, Assistant Professor, Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, Ms. Bhagyashri Hiradeve, Assistant Professor, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj, Nagpur University. Around 100 Yuva Tourism Club members participated in the webinar. Dr. S.L. Sihag (chairman NUJ) emphasized on Sustainable tourism for economic growth and employment opportunities in India. Prof. Arvind Kumar Agrawal, President (VC) NUJ, gave an overview of Tourism Industry in India, and the ability of tourism to alter the socio-cultural fabric of a country. Dr. Sunita Badhwar imparted in-depth knowledge of Sustainable Development Goals. She stressed on the requirement of integrated efforts of all the stakeholders of Tourism Industry.

National Tourism Day - 2024 Various Competitions & Activities at Institute of Hotel Management, Jaipur 25th January, 2024 On the occasion of National Tourism Day – 2024, on 25th January, 2024 India Tourism Jaipur in association with Institute of Hotel Management, Jaipur organized various competitions viz. Insta Quiz, Artwork Competition, Photography Competition, Regional Cooking Competition, Reel Making Competition. Apart from that, Nukkad Natak and Singing were also performed by the students. Around 200 students including Yuva Tourism Club members of IHM Jaipur participated in the aforesaid competitions. Shri G.D. Bairwa, Director, India Tourism Jaipur and Mrs. Nimisha Seth, Principal, IHM Jaipur awarded prizes to the winners of the aforesaid competitions.
