Darbari Lal D.A.V MODEL SCHOOL PITAMPURA celebrated National unity Day in the school under the flagship of Ministry of Tourism, India. Celebrate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a key figure in the National Integration of independent India. The day was adorned with the motivational speech by the revered Principal ma'am. Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was marked by the unanimous pledge taken by the students. Tourism club volunteers and the teaching fraternity . A Unity run was also organized where everyone participated with zeal and zest

Run for Unity to celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

India Tourism Jaipur (Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India) observed the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31st October, 2023 by undertaking the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge by Yuva Tourism Club members of Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Jaipur, officials of Madhya Pradesh Tourism, Gujarat Tourism, IITFC and local citizens at Jaipur. Thereafter, Run for Unity was also organized. Approximately 50 participants enthusiastically participated in the aforesaid Run.

Under the aegis of Ministry of Tourism, Students of Yuva Tourism Club of NC Jindal Public School, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi, enthusiastically celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, as "Rashtriya Ekta Diwas"(National Unity Day) on 31st October to foster and reinforce our commitment to strengthen the unity, integrity and security of the nation. Club students organized a "Run for Unity" programme in and near school premises, along with integrity Pledge ,involving people from all sections of the society, and created awareness about Sardar Patel's stellar contributions to the building of modern India.

Run for Unity Event

On the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, also known as National Unity Day, on October 31, 2023, the Yuva Tourism Club of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Almora organized a Run for Unity event. Students from all grades participated in the event, which began with a brief speech by the school Principal on the importance of national unity and the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The Run for Unity event was a resounding success. It was a great way to celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and to promote the message of national unity among students. The event also helped to raise awareness of the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to the nation.

Painting/ Poster Making/ slogan making/ along with Cleanliness Awareness Drive at Vibrant Village Festival at Harsil Village,Uttarakhand

Vibrant Village Festival at Harsil Village, District Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. A workshop on the Yuva Tourism Club was conducted at Festival. Yuva tourism club was formed of Government School- Harsil,Dharali, Jhala,Mukhwa. This educational programme aimed to engage the youth in promoting tourism and preserving the local heritage. Approximately, 60 YTC members also participated in the event. Painting, Poster Making competition and slogan making competing were also organised for YTC members to nurture creativity among the local youth.The themes revolved around tourism, culture and environmental conservation.The prizes were distributed by DTDO Uttarkasi, Block Education officer & TIO India Tourism Delhi. A Cleanliness awarenessd drive was also organised in association with local and the Yuva Tourism Club, to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and Swachhta in the village.

They also collected garbage from the school premises and disposed of it properly. The cleanliness drive was a great success. It helped to create awareness about the importance of cleanliness among the students, teachers, and staff. The school is now much cleaner and tidier than before.
