GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY
STUDENTS EXCHANGE PROGRAME
Student Exchange Program between Yuva Tourism Club of Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism, Amity University Mumbai and Department of Hotel Management and Tourism, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar: on 3rd November, 2023 as a part of the cultural exchange program between both the Yuva Tourism Clubs. Members of YTC , Amity University, Mumbai were presented with a good description of the city of Amritsar and its tourism destinations. Faculty members of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar welcomed the faculty members of Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism, Amity University Mumbai with a sapling to promote eco friendly souvenirs. Members of YUVA Tourism Club, Amity University, Mumbai interacted with the members of YUVA Tourism Club, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on respective culture and tourism. The whole program was facilitated by Indiatourism, Delhi in collaboration with Indiatourism, Mumbai as an initiative to promote cross cultural learning between YUVA Tourism Clubs of different regions.

Run for Unity
On the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, also known as National Unity Day, on October 31, 2023, the Yuva Tourism Club of Kendriya Vidyalaya Uttarkashi District Uttarakhand organized a Run for Unity event. Students from all grades participated in the event, which began with a brief speech by the school Principal on the importance of national unity and the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The Run for Unity event was a resounding success. It was a great way to celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and to promote the message of national unity among students. The event also helped to raise awareness of the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to the nation.

Hansraj Model school celebrated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as National Unity Day on 31 October 2023. This event’s objective being the reaffirmation of inherent strength and resilience of our nation, reminded everyone of the power of our nation’s greatest strength- unity in diversity. The energetic children accompanied by their teachers carried out a Run For Unity. During the school assembly, students remembered Sardar Patel and his contributions in India’s development.This was followed by pledge-taking of teachers and students appreciating the value of synergic effort rather than individual effort and preparing the young Hansarians to be the ambassadors of unity, peace and safety for the society.
