On 08th Oct 2023, Ministry of Tourism field office, Shimla (North) under Special Campaign- 3.0 collaborated with Yuva Tourism Club of Sambhota Tibetan School to organise nature trip and Swachhata Campaign to the Shimla water catchment area that aimed at promoting environmental awareness among students studying tourism in grades 11 and 12. The day began with an informative session about the importance of preserving water catchment areas and their role in tourism. Afterward, the students actively participated in a cleanliness drive, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining the ecological balance of the region. This hands-on experience not only enriched their understanding of sustainable tourism but also fostered a sense of responsibility towards our environment.

Ministry of Tourism, Government of India (India Tourism, Jaipur) organized a Painting Competition on 26th July, 2023 at Chittorgarh in association with Rajasthan Tourism Department for the members of Yuva Tourism Clubs of Shri Bhuvan Bhansusurishwer Senior Secondary School, Chittorgarh. Around 70 members of YTC enthusiastically participated in the aforesaid competition. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the competition and consolation prizes were also given to other participants for encouragement.

An essay competition was organized on the occasion of World Tourism Day by the Youth Tourism Club at Dr. Shivanand Nautiyal Government Post Graduate College, Karnaprayag.In the program, the Principal of the college, Prof. K. L. Talwar said that Uttarakhand is a rich state from the point of view of tourism, and there is a need to make these tourist places accessible to the people through social media. In this competition B.Sc. Hrithik Singh of the first semester stood first, B.A. Ameesha Rawat of the second semester got second position and Pragya of the B.A. second semester got third position. Akshat Dimri was given a consolation prize, On this occasion, Yuva Tourism Club coordinators Dr. Madan Sharma, Dr. Mrigank Malasi, Dr. Kirtiram Dangwal and Dr. Pankaj Yadav, etc. were present.

Swachata hi Seva Event held on 1st October, 2023 at the Humayun’s Tomb, New Delhi started with the oath taking ceremony followed by a cleanliness drive. Asavari, the music society of IHM Pusa continued the event by presenting a musical performance on the emphasis on cleanliness laid down by Mahatma Gandhi ji. The event was brought to an end by a Nukkad Natak performance by the drama society of IHM Pusa, Kaladhar on the importance and creating awareness of Swatch Bharat Abhiyan.
