Yuva Tourism Club of Hansraj Model School, Punjabi Bagh, orchestrated a heritage walk at Jahaz Mahal and Qutub Minar. The participating students, ranging from classes 10 to 12, were enriched with traditional and cultural insights about the monuments, courtesy of the knowledgeable guide, Mr. Raj Kumar Verma, who skillfully imparted information during the guided tour.
Delhi view allAn art workshop was organised, in which students learned to use clay and traditional items to make toys. Creating art work using sand and saw dust was also demonstrated.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various grades, who eloquently expressed their understanding of tourism's role in economic development, cultural exchange, environmental conservation, and job creation. Their essays showcased their well-researched insights and thoughtful perspectives, highlighting the transformative power of tourism in shaping communities and societies.

Karnataka view allThe Railway Museum at Mysore, India is an outdoor exhibit of vintage locomotives. The Railway Museum was established in 1979 by Indian Railways, the second such museum after the National Railway Museum in Delhi. The museum is opposite the Central Food Technology and Research Institute on Krishnaraja Sagar Road. It has locomotives and a gallery of photographs and paintings depicting the growth of railways in India. Railway signals and lights are also displayed. The museum has a battery-operated mini-train giving a short ride for children on the grounds. Grade 3 students of KNCIGS visited railway museum in Mysuru as a part of academics. They got the knowledge about how the railways are made, trains are constructed, types of trains etc. This made them to feel excite and also they got the chance to play the games.
Karnataka view allSrirangapatna is a town and headquarters of one of the seven Taluks of Mandya district, in the Indian State of Karnataka. It gets its name from the Ranganthaswamy temple consecrated around 984 CE. Later, under the British rule, the city was renamed to Seringapatnam. Located near the city of Mandya, it is of religious, cultural and historic importance. The monuments on the island town of Srirangapatna have been nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the application is pending on the tentative list of UNESCO. Our Grade 4 students went to visit the histrocial places as a part of excursion. They enjoyed the view as well as they got the knowledge about the ancient places which build our culture.
Karnataka view allA food fest was conducted on 2nd December in which students brought foods representing the various states and showcased it for everyone. The students got the opportunity to get to know about the various tastes of India.
