HERITAGE TOUR

Ihm gwalior organized a heritage trip under the yuva tourism club. association members of 15 group of students with coordinating faculty members visited orchha palace fort and other associated heritage places like raja ram mandir and betwa river. in this trip a program coordinator explained various historical facts and also gave awareness about fort architectural designs. this trip helped the young mind of students to acquire the knowledge about the cultural heritage of Bundala region.

Celebration of World Heritage week

The Yuva Tourism Club (YTC) of Government Degree College Nandasain (Chamoli), Uttarakhand, organized a Heritage walk and Painting competition as part of World Heritage Week celebrations. The event, held on 24th Nov 2023, aimed to foster a deeper appreciation among students for India's rich cultural heritage and the importance of its preservation. The Yuva Tourism Club's painting competition stands as a testament to the power of art in fostering cultural awareness and inspiring future generations to be custodians of India's rich heritage. The following students have secured positions. First – Kumari Shashi BA First Year, Second - Kumari Megha B.A 1st year & Third – Kumari Payal B.A 1st year. Through their creativity and passion, the students have not only created beautiful artworks but also ignited a spark of responsibility for preserving the treasures that define India's cultural identity.

Sant Rawool Maharaj Mahavidyalaya Kudal

Biodiversity Camp in Tilari-Dodamarg Conservation Reserve

From November 18th to 20th, 2023, the My Way Journey Organization, Sant Rawool Maharaj College, Kudal, and Eureka Science Center collaboratively organized a three-day winter camp at Tilari-Dodamarg Conservation Reserve. Approximately twenty-one nature lovers, ranging in age from 10 to 55, from Kolhapur, Sangli, Ratnagiri, Lanja, and Thane participated in this camp. On the first day evening, participant visited sacred grove of Perne, The participants were given a thrilling experience of the night trail and information about different types of of insects and spiders. Participants experienced trekking at Kasainath Mountain in the morning session, and they had the opportunity to witness a variety of species of birds. Subsequently, during the evening session, details on the hydroelectric project on Tilari Dam were presented, and during the night session, participants had the chance to examine the significance of the Tilari conservation reserve and its biodiversity. They also had a practical session on Light trap technique to study moths and other insect species. The Biodiversity Heritage Site is the only freshwater swamp region in Maharashtra, known as Myristica Swamp, was visited on the third day. Following this, we visited Ashok Sita Deorai in Hiwale village. where we spotted Malabar Great Hornbill, Malabar Pied Hornbill, and Malabar Gray Hornbill. Through this visit, nature lovers truly realized the significance of Sacred groves in nature conservation Overall, all participants got an opportunity to learn about different types of insects, spiders, birds, animals, and their habitats, as well, they could also experience the rural lifestyle a bit closer.

World Heritage Week

On the occasion of World Heritage Week- 23rd November 2023 , The Ministry of Tourism Field Office, Shimla Himachal Pradesh (North Region) organised ’Painting competition’ event on the topic of World and Indian Heritage Monument and State Tourism logos in collaboration with the Yuva Tourism Club of JNV Kangra District. Total 40 students participated in this event. The Principal of JNV Kangra school encouraged students the importance to know more about Indian Heritage and Monuments.

Heritage Walk from Jantar Mantar to Hawa Mahal

On the occasion of Global Launch of Travel for Life in accordance with the World Tourism Day – 2023, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India (Northern Region – Jaipur) organized Heritage Walk from Jantar Mantar to Hawa Mahal on 27th September, 2023. The Walk was started after administering the Travel for LIFE pledge by the participants. Around 60-70 participants including Yuva Tourism Club members (students of Institute of Hotel Management, Jaipur), Officials of Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, State Archaeology Department, Gujarat Tourism, Madhya Pradesh Tourism, Jaipur Virasat Foundation, Guides etc. participated in the aforesaid walk. The guide educated the participants about the rich cultural and architectural heritage importance of the en-route places viz. Uday Singh Ji ki Haveli, Atish Market, Tripolia Gate, Brij Mandir and Hawa Mahal etc. IT Jaipur distributed Incredible India logo printed Caps to the participants and also arranged refreshments.

The tomb, known for its stunning Mughal architecture, holds a key place in India's rich cultural heritage. The approved guide shared valuable information about the intricate details of the monument, its architectural marvels, and its historical context. The session aimed to deepen the participants' understanding of the cultural and historical significance of this iconic site.
