The Secretary, Tamana Joseph of class 11 said the Vote of Thanks. Principal, Ms. Ruby Antony was also present throughout the event. Yuva Club logo was also published during the event.

Uttarakhand view allIndiatourism Silvassa office celebrated World Heritage Week and Birsa Munda Jayanti on 22nd November 2023 at Eklavya Model Residential School, Shelti, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu with the Warli Art workshop and competition for the Yuva Tourism Club of EMRS. Around 50 students participated in the workshop along with the staff. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Balwant Patil (District Education Officer) Shri. Paritosh Shukla (Asst. Director, Education Department) and Smt. Nirmala Pilai (Principal, EMRS Shelti). The workshop is conducted by the famous Warli artist of the region Shri. Chandrakant Mahala and the best 3 arts have been awarded with Incredible India merchandise and a certificate. Each region of the country has its unique art forms that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the land. One such art form that has been preserved for centuries is the Warli art. The Warli art is a tribal art practiced in most parts of the Dadra & Nagar Haveli District, UT of DNH & DD. The Warli people are one of the oldest tribes in India, and their art is a reflection of their culture, beliefs, and way of life.
