Yuva Tourism Club FAM trip to Tepantar-a rural cultural tourism experience on 08.03.2023.

Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Eastern Regional Office, Kolkata organised a one day Study Tour of Yuva Tourism Clubs of West Bengal to Tepantar Theatre Village on 08.03.2023. Students interacted with craftmakers from local tribal and non-tribal communities assembled from different parts of Bengal. Students had also attended a workshop on rural performing art etc.

Heritage Walk of Raghurajpur Heritage Crafts Village

On the occasion of World Heritage Day-2023, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bhubaneswar Office organized a Heritage walk on 18.04.2023 at the heritage crafts village of Raghurajpur which is known for its Pattachitra art. This art form is used to decorate none other the Lord of the Universe- Lord Jagannath and his siblings. Around 100 students from Yuva Tourism Club and Tourism Stakeholders participated in this heritage walk to create a rooted connection between history, culture, tradition, folklore along with art and craft of Odisha. This heritage walk was the efforts of Indiatourism Bhubaneswar to initiate community participation for conservation and preservation of heritage, art and crafts. The Yuva Tourism Club students and Stakeholders of Tourism gained first hand knowledge from the artists and experienced the heritage craft village of odisha where every doors and windows speaks the art and craft of odisha.

Amity University Cleanliness Drive at Alibaug Beach.

YUVA Tourism Club of Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism, Mumbai organised a Cleanliness and Sensitization drive at Alibaug beach on 17th December 2022. The student members of the club cleaned a beach stretch of Varsoli Beach at Alibaug, Maharashtra and sensitised the local vendors and shopkeepers about the importance of keeping their surroundings clean. The students also interreacted with the tourists and educated them about disposing their trash responsibly while travelling. The students helped to spread awareness of Keeping Tourist Spots Clean through banners, placards and slogans.
