ITO Hyderabad in association with IHM Hyderabad Yuva tourism club organised a swachhata drive in Golconda Fort on 16th September, 2022. As part of the event students cleaned the monument and surrounding places. The students played a nukkad natak to create awareness about cleanliness in tourist and pubic places. The students and officials sensitised the food vendors near the monument about cleanliness and distributed sanitizers and paper bags. The students, officials took the Swachha Bharat pledge at the end of the event. 100 students, guides and tourism officials participated in the event

On the special occasion of International Museum Day, Students of Yuva Tourism club Government Model High School Sector 42B, were given an awareness session of how museums contribute to the nations tourism also the importance of the museums. A brief was also given to the students on this year’s theme of International Museum Day-2023, which is ‘Museums, Sustainability and Well-being,’ as part of MISSION LIFE (LIFESTYLE FOR ENVIRONMENT). A Virtual Tour was given to all the students which covered the museums in Chandigarh. Students were really excited to have a virtual tour which covered the International Doll museum, Government Museum and Art Gallery, National History Museum Chandigarh, Chandigarh Architecture museum, National gallery of portraits Chandigarh.

The heritage trip was organised by Yuva Tourism Club of Institute of Hotel Management Bhopal in association with Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Udaipura is a town in Vidisha District of Madhya Pradesh State, India. The walk started from Neelkantheshwar temple which is a mesmerizing beauiful temple made by Parmar dynasty. Shri Vijay Manohar Tiwari yogi gave us a insight about the history of the temple and the group then headed towards the Rajmahal. It was reserved by the government just two years ago . Moving forward the next stop was the Court house (raja ki kachehri) followed by the museum tour were some artefacts were placed lastly we ended our journey with the Nukad Natak and cleanliness drive in and around fort area of the town. This heritage walk aimed to create an awareness about unexplored place with and amazing history & Swacchh Bharat Mission of Ministry of Tourism.

A school trip to Baildila Hill in Kirandul (Chhattisgarh)was organized for 25 learners of grades XII & X. It was a learning experience for our students. Learners witnessed a vast diversity of flora and fauna in that area. The atmosphere of the hill station was very enchanting. Learners got to know the whole mining and blasting process and it’s importance by the CISF personnel. Children had an amazing time touring through theBailadila Hill. A drone which is used by CISF for its safety purpose was demonstrated to the learners and all related aspects were explained to them. Students also visited the war memorial to pay tribute and salute the sacrifices of Indian Bravehearts. The day ended by playing cricket which is much liked by the students. Children enjoyed the beauty of that scenario along with getting to know that place. Overall it was a learning, informative, and overwhelming experience for the learners on 21/04/2023.
