Kendriya Vidyalaya Gwaldham has conducted a series of events to promote tourism in India under the Yuva tourism club. These events have helped to raise awareness about the importance of tourism and have also helped to showcase India's diverse cultural and natural heritage. One of the events that Kendriya Vidyalaya Gwaldham conducted was an exhibition of local food, jewelry, and culture. This exhibition gave people a chance to learn about the different cultures of India and to see some of the beautiful jewelry and food that is made in India. Another event that Kendriya Vidyalaya Gwaldham conducted was a poster-making and drawing competition. This competition gave people a chance to express their creativity and to show their support for tourism in India. Finally, Kendriya Vidyalaya Gwaldham also organized a visit to a local lake and temple. This visit gave people a chance to experience the natural beauty of India and to learn about the history and culture of the region. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Palwal, Haryana recently organized two competitions for the Yuva Tourism Club: an essay writing competition and a logo design competition. These events aimed to engage and encourage students to explore the world of tourism and showcase their creative skills. The essay writing competition provided an opportunity for students to express their thoughts and ideas on various aspects of tourism. Participants were given a specific topic related to tourism, such as the importance of responsible tourism, the impact of tourism on the environment, or the promotion of local tourism. Students were required to research and present their ideas in a well-structured and coherent essay format. This competition not only enhanced their writing skills but also allowed them to develop a deeper understanding of the tourism industry and its significance.

In the month of May on , A trip to Sanghol Museum was planned for the students on May 4, 2023 in which the students were shown the art and architecture, currency, weapons, manuscripts of Harappan culture / Indus Valley Civilization between 3300BC-1300BC etc. A brief description about the rulers was given by an expert.

In the month of april Students were given a power point presentation on the tourist places of Punjab like Golden Temple , Jallianwala Bagh , Rose Garden , Rock Garden etc. Students were asked to prepare a scrap book of these places by pasting pictures and giving a brief description about these buildings

An introduction session was given to all the students of DAV MODEL School Chandigarh Sector 15 A, On the official inauguration day of Yuva Tourism club, the vision and mission of Yuva Tourism club was communicated to the students, motivated them to participate in the events which are organised under the banner of Yuva Tourism club. A special reference to responsible tourism and sustainable tourism was quoted. A pledge on Travel for Life was taken by all the students during the event.

On 15th November, 2022 the Yuva Tourism Club of Institute of Hotel Management , Ahmedabad visited the Statue of Unity on an educational trip arranged by Indiatourism Mumbai. This educational trip aimed at awareness of unity in the country, promotion of statue of unity as a tourist destination among the youth. The Yuva Tourism Club took initiative from their side to promote Swachhata among the visitors by performing Nukkad natak inside the entrance hall of SOU and taking the Swachhata oath in front of the statue. They also initiated local food vendors regarding food safety, performed cleanliness activity in the bus bay and promoted the importance of millets as food grain. It was a very productive visit which also included a visit of jungle safari park and Children Nutrition Park.

Ministry of Tourism (Northern Region), Government of India has formed the "Yuva Tourism Club" in " Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 HBK Dehradun, The Yuva Tourism Club had around 50 students participating in the session. The presentation of Yuva Tourism Club was given to students which guided them about the formation of the club followed by a video discussing its mission and vision. An interactive session took place which discussed what is tourism and the need to understand its importance. The Awakening Jingle about sustainability was shown to the students to help them comprehend that there is no Planet B. They were also made aware of the importance of being a sustainable and responsible traveler. A poster-making competition for the students was also organized as a monthly activity, and the top two best logos received prizes. Students of the Yuva Tourism Club also took the Travel for Life Pledge to be a member of the network of Pro Planet People for Sustainable Tourism under the Life Movement. The principal, Shri Mayank Sharma, and the coordinator of the Yuva Tourism Club, Shri Surinder Jeet Singh was also present.

On the occasion of World Heritage Day on 18th April 2023, Atharva College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology organised a Heritage Tour and cleanliness drive to Elephanta Caves. The students reached the caves early morning and started the tour with exploring the caves and learning about the history and architecture. Later, the students cleaned the caves premises and sensitized the tourists visiting the caves about the importance of keeping tourist places clean. The students also interacted with local vendors and shopkeepers and made them aware of sustainable practices which they can follow to reduce wastage and keep their surroundings clean. The students also attended the World Heritage Day program being at held at Elephanta Caves.

Mumbai Port is a hub for Cruise Tourism. The Indiatourism Mumbai office accorded traditional welcome for all the passengers arriving at Mumbai Port by Luxury liners starting from the Month of November 2022 to May 2023. The Yuva Tourism Club members from HR College and Garware Institute of Career Education and Development joined Indiatourism Mumbai in the welcoming ceremony organized during the sailing season 2022 - 2023. The Yuva Tourism students welcomed 30 Luxury liners with over 30,000 passengers arriving at Mumbai port with warm smiles and Haldi Kumkum. This activity was a great opportunity for the club members to get an exposure about Cruise Tourism.

On the occasion of National Tourism Day 2023. Indiatourism Mumbai hosted Heritage and Photo walk for the students of YUVA Tourism Clubs of IHM & CT and Kendriya Vidhyala Silvassa on 25th January 2023 at the Fort of Moti Daman. The Heritage walk was flagged off by Shri. Arun Gupta (Director, DNH & DD Tourism) along with Shri Shivakant (Conservation Assistant, ASI). Approx 50 students from YUVA Tourism Clubs of IHM & CT and Kendriya Vidhyala Silvassa participated in the Heritage walk. Photowalk was also hosted for local youth photographers to mark the National Tourism Day Celebration, around 20 photography enthusiasts and local social media influencers joined the Photowalk. The walk started from 11am to 2pm covering the Cathedral of Bom Jesus, the Dominican Monastery, the Bocage house, the old lighthouse, and Asia’s oldest Municipality office. With the heritage walk, students learned interesting facts, culture, and heritage of the Daman. The photographers tried their creativity with their photography skills and interacted with local communities to better understand the heritage.

On the occasion of National Tourism Day 2023. Indiatourism Mumbai organized an educational tour to Sirpur, Chhattisgarh for the Yuva Tourism Club members of State Institute of Hotel Management, Raipur and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Naya Raipur. The purpose of this educational tour was to experience the unprecedented history of Indian art in Sirpur, the city of temples on the east bank of the Mahanadi River. At the beginning of the educational tour, everyone was told about the importance of cleanliness at tourist places, followed by a street play on cleanliness by the members of Yuva Tourism Club and also by running a cleanliness drive at the place around Ambedkar Chowk, Tibardev Vihar and Laxman Temple, better segregation of waste was told to the general public present there. At the end of the educational trip, everyone was administered the Swachhata Pledge, in which emphasis was laid on being aware of cleanliness and giving time for it.
