The Yuva Tourism Club of Sambhota Tibetan School organized a remarkable event showcasing the local cultural and natural heritage of India and Tibet. The event was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Nashi Chauhan, a school teacher coordinator, and witnessed active participation from students and faculty members. The event started with a Poem Competition, where students showcased their talent in writing poetry on heritage sites and their significance. The event was followed by a Ramp Walk that displayed the diverse cultural heritage of India, Tibet, and the Pahadi region. The students walked the ramp with pride and confidence, showcasing their traditional attire and cultural practices, mesmerizing the audience with their unique style. Ms. Nashi Chauhan, a faculty member of the school, delivered a speech on the Importance of Heritage Day, highlighting the significance of preserving our cultural heritage for future generations. Mr. Spandan Ghale, a class-12th student, gave an introduction speech, providing an overview of the event and its objectives. Mr. Kush Sharma, another class-12th student, delivered a thought-provoking speech on the Preservation of our Heritage sites. He emphasized the need to protect our heritage sites and promote sustainable tourism practices to preserve our cultural and natural heritage. Overall, the event was a grand success, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and learn about the rich cultural and natural heritage of India and Tibet. Himachal Pradesh view allTo celebrate 126th Birth Anniversary of the Great Hero of India, #NetajiSubhashChandraBose, a programme was organised on 23rd January '23 at Netaji Bhawan by Indiatourism Kolkata (Ministry of Tourism, Government of India) supported by Netaji Research Bureau (NRB) and Yuva Tourism Club Volunteers, 200 plus students and several teachers of a few educational institutions, namely, Narayanpur HCT High School, NSHM Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management, ILEAD College, Techno India Group Public School Garia, Kendriya Vidyalaya Ballygunge, BNG Tourism & Hospitality Management Institute, and Swami Vivekananda Institute of Modern Science, paid homage to the Great Leader Netaji. After visiting the beautiful Museum spread over three floors of Netaji Bhaban, Elgin Road, they all sang an inspirational chorus song 'Jayatu Netaji' created by Gaanpanthi, dedicated to our beloved hero. The joint participation of all the students and various institutions celebrating this day of Netaji, the #ParakramDiwas, made it a grand success.

Students from Hind Motar Education Centre from Hoogly, Shri Sikshayatan School, Kendriya Vidyalaya Command Hospital, iLEAD Collage, NSHM Institute of Hotel & Tourism Managament, The Neotia University, Techno India Public School Garia, Kendriya Vidyalaya Ballygunge from Kolkata, Kendriya Vidyalaya Adra from Purulia, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya from West Mednipur, Kendriya Vidyalaya IOC Haldia from East Mednipur & Satish Chandra Memorial School from Nadia enthusiastically participated in the event. We had amongst us Shri Rangan Dutta (blogger of West Bengal), Smt. Sneha Bhattacharyya from Bangla Natok Dot Com as speakers for the seminar. Prizes for 'Tourism of India' quiz were distributed to the winners.
West Bengal view allThe Yuva Tourism Club of Dhanbad Public School organised club activities like Poster Making, Painting, Acting etc. on the topic TOURISM IN JHARKHAND. The session started with a speech of the Student Head, Azra Fatma of Std XI ARTS. In her speech the Student Head spoke about the objective of the club and also spoke about the cultural richness of Jharkhand. She also pointed the scope of tourism in this tribal state. The YTC members participated in the activities enthusiastically. A group of three girls presented a short skit narrating the natural and cultural bounty of the state. Total 75 YTC members participated in the activities.

Odisha view allIndiatourism Mumbai in association with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sanghralay and the Yuva Tourism Club students of Garware Institute of Career Education, organised a tour of CSMVS and a workshop on Indian Textiles. Around 250 students and faculties participated in this initiative where the students explored the rich heritage and history of our country. Students were enthusiastic at this outdoor learning opportunity as they experienced many historical objects first hand.

Gujrat view allIndiatourism Mumbai in association with Indian Institute of Technology Bombay engaged with college students of Mumbai to spread awareness about millets. The world is celebrating the International Year of Millets and Yuva Tourism Clubs of seven colleges of Mumbai came together in IIT Bombay to participate in a workshop with celebrity award winning Chef of Novotel Chef Jerson Fernandez. 300 students were on attendance and the workshop became lively with interesting information, innovation and spot quiz. IHM Mumbai contributed through ragi cookies to inspire the theme.
Maharashtra view allIndiatourism Mumbai organized a tour of ‘Forts of Maharashtra’ from 22nd to 28th March, 2023 for the yuva tourism of Sunny’s Spring Dale School, Bhandara. The tour covered 5 historically important forts of Maharashtra - Sinhagad, Shivneri, Rajgad, Pratapgad, and Raigad. The tour was a wonderful opportunity for the students to learn about the rich history and culture of Maharashtra. The forts of Maharashtra have played a significant role in Maharashtra's history and have witnessed some of the most important battles and events. Visiting these forts was a great way for the students to understand and appreciate the past. The students were able to explore the fortifications, galleries, and other structures and learn about the unique features of each fort. Overall, the tour of the forts of Maharashtra was an enriching experience for the students.
