Poster Making competition by YTC members

Name of the Institute : School Of Scholars, Nimbhora Khurd Amravati .* Number of students participated: 35 Date and venue: 25th August 2023, School of Scholars Amravati. Event: Poster Making competition With reference to Government initiative "AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV", YTC members participated in Poster Making competition which was held on 25th August 2023 in School of Scholars Amaravati. Total 35 students participated in this competition. Mr. Kunal Rajnekar (HOD Arts Department) honoured this event as Judge. 👉Topics were as follows 1) Meri Mitti Mera Desh (मेरी मिट्टी मेरा देश) 2) Freedom fighters 3) 77 th years of Independence. Students participated with great enthusiasm. Winners List- 1st Prize - Sharvari Mukatanand Chamlate 2nd Prize - Soham Atul Bijwe 3rd Prize - Sanika Ravi Adsod. Consolation Prize - Bhakti Gajanan Atale and Sudhanshu Nitin Kadu Thank you!

Cleanliness Drive ( Swachhtat hi Sewa - Shramdaan

Event: Rajapeth Bus Depot,Cleanliness Drive ( Swachhtat hi Sewa - Shramdaan) Description: In reference to the activity suggested by Yuva Tourism, Maharashtra, Ministry of Tourism for October Month( Clean India 3.0 Month) ,Cleanliness Drive has been conducted at Rajapeth Bus Depot, Amravati. Under the guidance of School Principal Respected Suresh Lakde, Vice Principal Sarika Varma, Primary School Vice Principal Samidha Nahar and in presence of Teachers -Dipali Pawar, Sapna Mahure and Shilpa Mulak, School Nurse - Rajni Dongare the Cleanliness drive has been successfully conducted to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean environment. Students were encouraged to adopt cleanliness as a daily routine and do Shramdaan in their vicinity on 6th Oct.2023.The garbage spread in the Depot area is swiped and disposed properly with the help of Bus Depot service men. Immense acre of hygiene has been taken care of with the use of Gloves, Masks, Sanitizers and Hand wash. Thank you team India Tourism.

An essay competition was organized on the occasion of World Tourism Day by the Youth Tourism Club at Dr. Shivanand Nautiyal Government Post Graduate College, Karnaprayag.In the program, the Principal of the college, Prof. K. L. Talwar said that Uttarakhand is a rich state from the point of view of tourism, and there is a need to make these tourist places accessible to the people through social media. In this competition B.Sc. Hrithik Singh of the first semester stood first, B.A. Ameesha Rawat of the second semester got second position and Pragya of the B.A. second semester got third position. Akshat Dimri was given a consolation prize, On this occasion, Yuva Tourism Club coordinators Dr. Madan Sharma, Dr. Mrigank Malasi, Dr. Kirtiram Dangwal and Dr. Pankaj Yadav, etc. were present.

Cleanliness drive

Swachata hi Seva Event held on 1st October, 2023 at the Humayun’s Tomb, New Delhi started with the oath taking ceremony followed by a cleanliness drive. Asavari, the music society of IHM Pusa continued the event by presenting a musical performance on the emphasis on cleanliness laid down by Mahatma Gandhi ji. The event was brought to an end by a Nukkad Natak performance by the drama society of IHM Pusa, Kaladhar on the importance and creating awareness of Swatch Bharat Abhiyan.

They were able to enrich their academic knowledge, broaden their perspectives and learn how they can contribute positively to the agricultural and environmental sectors. They were informed how tourism is emerging as a sector of the potential economic zone in India.

On the occasion of world tourism day for the students of class 9th poster making competition was conducted on the topic- PLASTIC FREE EARTH. students have made various posters on the given topic and also wrote the slogans about it. In this way students enjoyed this activity and also got aware regarding the use of plastic. students also took the SWACCHATA PLEDGE and TRAVEL FOR LIFE PLEDGE . Students promised that they will avoid plastic in their daily life to keep the environment clean and safe. In this way the activity was successful.

Government Post Graduate College Joshimath Chamoli (Uttarakhand). The Yuva Tourism Club students took the Travel for life pledge under the ambitious cleanliness campaign of *Mahatma Gandhi's Dream India* of the Central Government and the Government of Uttarakhand, cleanliness pledge was taken by the students, staff, and professors of the college, and the college campus was cleaned along with the streets and localities. The pledge was also taken to keep Government College Joshimath clean.

Under the aegis of the Yuva Tourism Club, a cleanliness awareness rally was held in the city of Joshimath on 30/09/2023. The rally started at the Government Post Graduate College Joshimath and passed through the main streets of the city. The rally was aimed at raising awareness about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. The participants spoke to people about the need to keep their surroundings clean. They also urged people to avoid littering and to dispose of their waste properly.

Cleanliness & Tree Plantation Drive

YTC i.e Yuva Tourism Club of Atharva College of Hotel Management participated in Cleanliness & Tree Plantation Drive at General Hospital, Malad West. YTC members from Atharva College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology participated along with Program Officer i.e Prof. Prakash Jadhavar. Members took the initiative to clean their area and keep the area clean. All of the volunteers had a good spirit of cleaning the area under the guidelines of Mumbai University. Volunteers were provided with refreshments along with that they were a part of Plastic recycling program where they were taught. Outcome of the activity: Students cleaned the Hospital and created an awareness to keep their area clean, so that people know how to conserve and preserve the environment.
