A familiarization watersports activity was organized by the Tourism Department, UT of Lakshadweep for the YTC members of Govt Arts & Science College, Kadmat island on 22.03.2023 at Bangaram Island, Lakshadweep. The students participated in activities like snorkelling and scuba diving at Bangaram island.

As part of National Tourism Day celebrations, Yuva Tourism Club of Government College of Arts and Science, Kadmat Island, Lakshadweep in association with the Central Nodal Agency for Sustainable Tourism organized a Sensitization Session on “Travel for LiFE campaign” of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The students were briefed about the Travel for LiFE Campaign of Ministry of Tourism and the role of Yuva Tourism Clubs in supporting the effective implementation of the campaign.

The Yuva Club of Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education Chandigarh, organized an educational visit, Headed by Teacher Coordinator for YTC Mrs.Gitika Kapoor to Japanese Garden, Sector- 31,Chandigarh. The Japanese garden has a good variety of plants which helped the students to gain first-hand information on the different types of plants. The Students explored the Japanese garden to investigate the properties of medicinal plants, learnt the plants generic and scientific names and to which plant family they belong to. The Students have taken extensive notes on a variety of plants from different sections of the garden. The Students were able to know about the rich Japanese culture.

On the occasion of National Tourism Day, an interactive session was organized on "Adventure Tourism in Lakshadweep" by the Yuva Tourism Clubs of Kavaratti in association with the Department of Tourism Development and Department of Education, UT of Lakshadweep. The students were sensitized about the prospects of adventure tourism in the islands of Lakshadweep. An orientation was also given on the various watersports equipment used for recreational purposes. The Yuva Tourism Club members of Government Senior Secondary School, Kavaratti and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kavaratti attended the session.

The Yuva Tourism Club of Maharishi Dayanand Adarsha Vidyalaya Sector 22-A, organised a poster making activity on the occasion of World Heritage Day. The main motive was to get the students to be more aware about our rich culture and heritage also to promote the talents in students.
