More than 100 students along with the faculties of IHM participated in the event. A Swachhta Pledge taken during the event and cleaning and sweeping has been done in the premises of IHM Guwahati.

The said event “Swachhata Pledge” taken, quiz competition organized among the students of Yuva Tourism Club on Swachh Bharat. Sweeping and Cleaning done in front of the Institute’s road i.e VIP road, Borbari, Guwahati. More than 40 students participated in the cleanliness drive event.

Ministry of Tourism, Government of India (Northern Region - Jaipur) organized Drawing / Poster Making Competition on 23rd May, 2023 for the members of Yuva Tourism Club of Subodh Public School, Jaipur under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat with the object to generate awareness regarding the EBSB concept of Government of India. Around 50 students of class IXth & Xth enthusiastically participated in the competition. The participants made beautiful drawing of tourist attractions of both pairing states. Winners were awarded with the prize.

Celebrating the International Year of Millets, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India (Northern Region - Jaipur) organized Speech Competition on the subject “Why Millets are good for food security, nutrition and sustainable agriculture” on 23rd May, 2023 for the members of Yuva Tourism Club of Subodh Public School, Jaipur. The participants showcased their creativity and knowledge on the subject. Mrs. Kamaljeet Yadav Principal, Mrs. Asha Negi Coordinator YTC and other faculty members of school were present during the competition. The objective of organizing this competition was to make aware the students regarding health benefits of Millets. Around 150 students of class XIth & XIIth participated in the competition. Winners were awarded with the prize.

ITO Varanasi office launched the formation of “Yuva Tourism Club” in Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS), University of Lucknow. In a beautiful inaugural event of initiation of 'Yuva Tourism Club over 100 students along with Nodal officer Dr Anupama Srivastava, Yuva Tourism Club, Institute of Tourism Studies, Tourism officials and other dignitaries graced the occasion by their presence. A motivational speech tourism awareness was delivered by J K Rai, President, Tourist Guide Association (TGA), Varanasi. Multiple cultural performances like Saraswati Vandana, classical dance and nukkad natak were nicely fitted in between. The amazing performance of "Nukkad Natak" by newly formed YTC Students was based on the themes like "Atithi Dev Bhavah" & " awareness on how to behave with foreign tourists"

The Yuva Tourism Club students of Government College of Arts & Science, Kadmat island were a part of the hospitality team that welcomed national and international delegates at Bangaram Island Resort during the recently concluded G20 summit in Lakshadweep from May 01 to May 03, 2023. 23 students were trained in various departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Production and F&B Service during the internship opportunity facilitated by Department of Tourism Development, Lakshadweep Administration. On the concluding day, the Director, Department of Tourism Development Lakshadweep addressed the students on importance of skill enhancement and career opportunities in hospitality industry. As a token of appreciation, adventure activities were also organized for Yuva Tourism Club members.

Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Southern Regional Office in collaboration with Lakshadweep Tourism and IHM Bengaluru organized a Hospitality Training Workshop from April 18 to April 20, 2023 to facilitate training for staff members of Bangaram Island Resort ahead of G20 meeting scheduled for May 2023 at Bangaram, Lakshadweep. The workshop conducted by trainers from IHM Bengaluru aimed to sensitize the hospitality staff on key aspects of Front office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage service and Food production with a view to ensure delivery of high quality services during the visit of G20 delegation. The workshop also offered valuable insights and knowledge about various aspects of G20 and cross-cultural handling. The workshop received enthusiastic response from staff of Bangaram Island Resort and trainees from YTC, Govt Arts & Science College, Kadmat island, Lakshadweep.
