OUTDOOR TRIP
Students of 11th class were taken to Sadda Pind, Amritsar, to know more about Punjabi Village culture. The students ate traditional things like mustard greens, drank chatti lassi. After that they also enjoyed magician's play, puppet show and juggler's acrobatics. Apart from this, they also saw Jaago, Janj Ghar, Giddha,Bhangra

Formation of Yuva Tourism Club
ITO Varanasi office launched the formation of “Yuva Tourism Club” in Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS), University of Lucknow. In a beautiful inaugural event of initiation of 'Yuva Tourism Club over 100 students along with Nodal officer Dr Anupama Srivastava, Yuva Tourism Club, Institute of Tourism Studies, Tourism officials and other dignitaries graced the occasion by their presence. A motivational speech tourism awareness was delivered by J K Rai, President, Tourist Guide Association (TGA), Varanasi. Multiple cultural performances like Saraswati Vandana, classical dance and nukkad natak were nicely fitted in between. The amazing performance of "Nukkad Natak" by newly formed YTC Students was based on the themes like "Atithi Dev Bhavah" & " awareness on how to behave with foreign tourists"

In a remarkable move towards adoption of sustainable tourism practices, 22 Hospitality trainee students from Yuva Tourism Club students of Government College of Arts & Science, Kadmat island took the Travel for LiFE Pledge at Bangaram Island, Lakshadweep and joined the network of Pro Planet People in India.

Participation of YTC students in G20 Summit preparation
The Yuva Tourism Club students of Government College of Arts & Science, Kadmat island were a part of the hospitality team that welcomed national and international delegates at Bangaram Island Resort during the recently concluded G20 summit in Lakshadweep from May 01 to May 03, 2023. 23 students were trained in various departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Production and F&B Service during the internship opportunity facilitated by Department of Tourism Development, Lakshadweep Administration. On the concluding day, the Director, Department of Tourism Development Lakshadweep addressed the students on importance of skill enhancement and career opportunities in hospitality industry. As a token of appreciation, adventure activities were also organized for Yuva Tourism Club members.

Hospitality Training Workshop at Bangaram Island Resort
Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Southern Regional Office in collaboration with Lakshadweep Tourism and IHM Bengaluru organized a Hospitality Training Workshop from April 18 to April 20, 2023 to facilitate training for staff members of Bangaram Island Resort ahead of G20 meeting scheduled for May 2023 at Bangaram, Lakshadweep. The workshop conducted by trainers from IHM Bengaluru aimed to sensitize the hospitality staff on key aspects of Front office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage service and Food production with a view to ensure delivery of high quality services during the visit of G20 delegation. The workshop also offered valuable insights and knowledge about various aspects of G20 and cross-cultural handling. The workshop received enthusiastic response from staff of Bangaram Island Resort and trainees from YTC, Govt Arts & Science College, Kadmat island, Lakshadweep.

Familiarization Watersports activity for YTC Students
A familiarization watersports activity was organized by the Tourism Department, UT of Lakshadweep for the YTC members of Govt Arts & Science College, Kadmat island on 22.03.2023 at Bangaram Island, Lakshadweep. The students participated in activities like snorkelling and scuba diving at Bangaram island.

The Activity was organised by the Head Teacher In Charge Mrs.Tejinder Kaur, followed by an interactive discussion session with the students of Yuva Tourism Clubs by India Tourism (North). All students of YTC also took a pledge on Travel for Life.
