Alok Public School, Silvassa celebrated World Environment Day with a plantation drive. School inaugurated the Yuva Tourism Club, an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, on 5th June on the occasion of World Environment Day and the first day of school reopening. Students planted and adopted the plants and pledged to take care of them. Mrs. Smriti Singh (Principal) encouraged the students to create a mini forest inside the campus with different varieties of plants. Students are very excited to join the club and participate in various initiatives of the Ministry of Tourism.

Tripura office,Northeast region,Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, the Police wireless ICPW station in association with Agartala Cycoholics Foundation organised a Bicycle rally where over 50 cyclists form the Yuva Tourism Club of various colleges/schools in Agartala,Tripura took part in the rally to create awareness on responsible travel and adopting a sustainable lifestyle on the occasion of ‘World Bicycle Day’ 2023 on theme ‘Cycling is more than Transportation’. Assistant Director communication (Police wireless ICPW station) along with 02 state nodal officers (Tripura office,Northeast region,Ministry of Tourism, Government of India) flagged off the rally from circuit house and ended in Ujjayanta palace,where Shri Tapan Kumar Das, Director,Tourism Department,Tripura interacted with the YTC members and encouraged them for living a healthy lifestyle and had a cake cutting ceremony with them.

On the Journey to pan India cycle tour with an aim to ride 25000 kms covering 28 states making this visit with the aim of making citizens aware about "Women Safety and Women Empowerment". Miss Aasha Malviya, came to Tripura with the message of "women safety and women empowerment". Here she interacted with the Yuva Club Members of Auxilium Girls School, Agartala. she shared her views on women safety and women empowerment & motivated the girls, saying that now a days girls can do or achieve anything once they have the confidence and passion for it. Yuva tourism club of IHM Bhopal organised the cleanliness drive and swacchata walk at Shahpura Lake on 17.05.23. The students cleaned the area and distributed trash bags to the park visitors and the locals coming for street food around the lake, thus motivating the stake holders to maintain the cleanliness.

Yuva tourism club was inaugurated at Stepping Stones School Sector 37 D Chd. Students were sensitized about the aims and objectives of the club . Club members discussed the importance of Tourism industry in India's Economy. Tarita Sharma was appointed as Student Secretary and Rubeen were introduced as Additional Student Secretary. Different activities were discussed in the ceremony through which the club members would gain exposure to the rich diversity of India and value its rich civilization.
