In 2023, India has marked 76 years of freedom from the British rule- a significant milestone in the country. Independence Day is celebrated with pomp and show accross the nation and by Indians accross the globe! It is a reminder of the struggles that won us our liberation from the British Raj after nearly two centuries, the sacrifices made by the leaders, the freedom fighters who laid their lives to win independence and more. Jashn-e-Azaadi- Independence Day Celebration Week was observed by the Middle Department, Bal Bharati Public School, Ganga Ram Hospital Marg, New Delhi. A series of activities were planned for the learners where they enthusiastically participated in Character Dramatisation, Writing on the Graffiti Wall, Role Play. The celebrations have culminated today, on 15th August, 2023 with the flag hoisting ceremony in the school premises. Please find attached a few pictures of the celebrations. An elocution competition is the art of public speaking that gives self-boost and confidence to speak in front of a large audience. It enables children to create a connect with the audience who is listening to them through voice modulation.

The drive was organized to create awareness about the importance of trees and to encourage the students to take care of the environment. The plantation drive was a success. The trees will help to improve the environment and will also provide a green and healthy environment for the students.
