Date: 17th January, 2024 Attendee: 44 Beneficiaries: 41 Yuva Tourism Club in collaboration with MTDC has organized an exciting Travel Talks, on January 17, 2024. This event was tailored to engage our passionate tourism students in a spectrum of exciting M.T.D.C activities. The Guests of Honour Dr. Chandrashekhar Jaiswal, General Manager at MTDC & Ms. Manasi Kothari, Officer at MTDC provided an insightful discussion on the potential, difficulties & current trends facing the tourism sector. After the enlightening conversation the event took an interactive turn as the students participated in an engaging quiz called the "Magic Masti Madness Quiz" about Mumbai Fest, which was arranged by M.T.D.C. The quiz encompassed a variety of subjects pertaining to travel and tourism, Maharashtra’s rich cultural legacy, and the role of MTDC in marketing the state. In addition to assessing the students' knowledge, the quiz gave the gathering a lively, competitive atmosphere. Competitors competed with enthusiasm, demonstrating their knowledge of Maharashtras tourism sites and the sector as a whole. The event served as an enriching experience for the students with knee interest in the tourism field. Date: 2nd March, 2024 Attendee: 5 Beneficiaries: 5 The Yuva Tourism Club of H.R. College recently participated in the vibrant and energetic event, Bazaar'24 organized by the GEMS Committee. As an active member of this event, our club enthusiastically set up an engaging games stall to contribute to the overall spirit and success of the event. The stall featured three exciting games - The Dart Mate, Toss the Ball, and the One Minute Challenge Game. The Dart Mate: The Dart Mate game brought an element of precision and accuracy to the stall. Participants were challenged to showcase their aim by throwing darts at a target, providing them with an opportunity to enhance their focus and hand-eye coordination. Toss the Ball: Toss the Ball added an element of fun and camaraderie to the stall. Participants aimed to throw balls into designated targets, encouraging friendly competition and promoting a lively atmosphere at the event. One Minute Challenge Game: The One Minute Challenge Game tested participants skills and agility within a tight timeframe. This fast-paced game aimed to create a sense of urgency and excitement, fostering a dynamic and engaging experience for all involved. Participating in Bazaar'24 was a valuable learning experience for the Yuva Tourism Club. The event allowed our members to develop organizational and teamwork skills, from planning the stall layout to coordinating game logistics. Engaging with a diverse audience also provided insights into effective communication and adaptability. Through the diverse range of games offered, the club contributed to the overall success of the occasion, fostering a sense of community and enjoyment. The learning experiences gained from this event will undoubtedly contribute to the continuous growth and success of the Yuva Tourism Club in future endeavors. Date: 26th February, 2024 Attendee: 16 Beneficiaries: 16 On March 26th , 2024, YTC had the pleasure of visiting the Indiatourism Office, Mumbai. We were warmly welcomed by Ms. Satarupa Datta, Assistant Director, who provided valuable insights into the job roles and daily operations of the office. Following Ms. Satarupa Datta’s introduction, Mr. Paresh Dere, Tourist Information Officer, presented a captivating presentation showcasing the various branches and divisions of the Indiatourism office and the intricate details of their work related to tourism development. His presentation particularly emphasized the importance of sustainable and responsible tourism practices. This visit provided the YTC members with a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted work undertaken by the Indiatourism Office in promoting and developing tourism in India, while also emphasizing the crucial role of responsible tourism practices in preserving the country’s cultural and natural heritage. College conducted a visit on an enriching travel show Outbound Travel Mart 2024, on 8th February, 2024 accompanied by enthusiastic students of H.R. College and the dedicated faculty in-charge Asst. Prof. Faaiz S. Patel of Yuva Tourism Club. The Outbound Travel Mart 2024 provided a comprehensive platform for travel enthusiasts, professionals, and industry stakeholders. The event showcased a diverse range of travel destinations, services, and emerging trends in the travel and tourism sector. The travel mart offered valuable networking opportunities, allowing our students to interact with industry professionals, tourism boards, and travel service providers. This facilitated knowledge exchange and potential collaborations for future endeavors. Our visit to the travel mart was an immersive experience, providing first-hand exposure to the dynamics of the travel industry. Students gained insights into the latest travel technologies, sustainable tourism practices, and innovative approaches adopted by various exhibitors. The Tourism Conclave was a part of the Mumbai Fest, aiming to bring together industry experts, stakeholders, and enthusiasts to discuss and explore the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the tourism sector. The Event was started by the grand welcoming of Shri. Girish Mahajan, Hon’ble Tourism Minister, Govt. of Maharashtra in proper Maharashtrian form by Shehnai and Dhol. Sabbas Joseph- A founder Director of Wizcraft spoke about the opportunities in Mumbai fest and in tourism industry. Secretary of Tourism – Miss Jayshree Bhoj, gave us an overview of the recent trends in Tourism. She spoke about the women empowerment in the Tourism industry. Also gave brief on Sustainable Tourism and how MTDC has helped in creating awareness about these both concerns. Shri. Girish Mahajan , Hon’ble Tourism Minister, Govt. of Maharashtra was given the token of appreciation by Miss. Jayshree Bhoj. He spoke about Green/ Sustainable Tourism – Need of an Hour, Tourism for Life. He also spoke about how to increase and make tourism attractive in Maharashtra. Naveli Deshmukh An Ambassador for Youth, comes from lands of Ajanta and Ellora, She won the title of Miss. India. She also won the title of Youth Ambassador and worked with more than 5000 youth. Her Aim: - Youth involvement and focus on how individual should promote oneself. Dr. Monika Prakash, Nodal Officer (CAN-ST) spoke on Sustainable Tourism- Travel for Life (TFL). They are launching a Global Campaing (Motivating each to understand specific Travel for life action) they are also launching a competition “Travel for Tomorrow Case Study” with the aim of – Compile, analyze and showcase Innovative and impactful initiatives.

On the occasion of World Hindi Day the Yuva Tourism Club at H.R. College has successfully hosted an online event in commemoration of World Hindi Day. The occasion featured an informative session on the significance of World Hindi Day, accompanied by engaging online games. These included the “Bujho Toh Jane” puzzle round, a Quiz on World Hindi Day, and an entertaining Tongue Twister round. The event concluded on a positive note with the closing speech of our faculty In-charge Asst. Prof. Faaiz S. Patel and with the announcement of the top 5 participants in the Tongue Twister round, fostering a collective love for the Hindi language. This event made us realise the beautiful essence of Hindi language and it’s culture.

The event aimed at fostering an appreciation for tourism among FYJC and SYJC students. The launch commenced with an inaugural ceremony, featuring inspiring speeches by club organizers, Principal Dr. Pooja Ramchandani Ma’am, Vice Principal of Jr. College Ms. Laju Sharma & Faculty Head of Yuva Tourism Club Asst. Prof. Faaiz S. Patel emphasizing the pivotal role of tourism in holistic education. The event showcased the club's commitment to nurturing a new generation of culturally aware and globally conscious individuals. Interactive quiz competition was engaging students in discussions about the cultural, environmental, and economic aspects of tourism. The enthusiastic participation of the students reflected their keen interest in exploring the diverse facets of the tourism industry. The club also unveiled its upcoming calendar of events, which includes field trips, guest lectures, and hands-on activities tailored to enhance students' understanding of the tourism sector. Overall, the launch of Yuva Tourism Club Juniors proved to be a resounding success, setting the stage for an exciting journey of exploration, learning, and cultural enrichment for the young minds of the Junior College. Students of YUVA TOURISM CLUB from H.R. College Ms. Megha Sakpal, Ms. Bhakti Shah & Ms. Sanjna Chugh, Mr. Samanvay Sehgal offered a traditional welcome, complemented by a vibrant Lezim performance to greet the tourists. This experience served as a significant moment for students, offering them valuable insights into cruise tourism and enabling them to establish important connections within the industry. Date: 10th December, 2023 Attendee: 2 Beneficiaries: 2 The Yuva Tourism Club arranged an exciting adventure into the world of cruise tourism, giving students a special chance to see how it all works. In a unique move, students got to welcome guests on famous cruise ships, wearing traditional clothes that showed off their culture while helping with hospitality tasks. On December 10, 2023, the lavish "Celebrity Millennium" docked at Mumbai Port with 1600 passengers on board, enroute from Kochi to Goa, Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, and Pattaya. The ship received a traditional Lezim welcome, and students of Yuva Tourism Club Ms. Vaishali Tyagi & Mr. Gasif Husain from H.R. College adorned passengers with Haldi Kumkum, blending cultural richness with warm hospitality. This experience was a big moment for students, giving them great chances to learn about cruise tourism and make important connections in the industry. A big thanks to Asst. Prof. Faaiz S. Patel, the important teacher in charge of the Yuva Tourism Club. His strong support and guidance were very important for the success of this event. His help made sure everything went well, showing how the club is committed to giving students real experiences.

On December 5, 2023, the Luxury Liner "SEVEN SEAS NAVIGATORS" reached Mumbai Port with 370 passengers on board. Having departed from Fujairah (Dubai), its next stops include Goa and Kochi, with a layover in Mumbai. The arrival featured a traditional Lazim welcome, and students of Yuva Tourism Club Ms. Saniya Khan & Mr. Raj Patel from H.R. College conducted the Haldi Kumkum ceremony. This experience marked a pinnacle moment for students, offering unparalleled opportunities to delve into cruise tourism and establish valuable industry connections. Recognizing their commendable efforts, they received certificates, symbolizing a significant milestone in their academic and professional journeys. Special appreciation goes to Asst. Prof. Faaiz S. Date: 27th October, 2023 Attendee: 30 Beneficiaries: 30 The Yuva Tourism Club organized a paid project session that offered students a unique opportunity to explore the world of cruise tourism and its fascinating operations and services. During this event, Logistics Tree LLP, an experienced company specializing in port operations and the official ground handling agent for Costa Cruises, provided insights into upcoming trips covering destinations such as Mumbai, Goa, Cochin, Lakshadweep, Chennai, and Vizag. Students were briefed on their role in handling the check-in desk, accompanying tour guides, assisting at airports for both arrivals and departures, offering valuable directions to visitors, ensuring the smooth operation of shuttle services, addressing impromptu inquiries, and showcasing their problem-solving skills. Participants were promised an experience certificate to enhance their resumes and gain significant exposure to the cruise industry, akin to having a backstage pass. Additionally, a daily allowance of RS 800 was offered as an extra incentive. A special appreciation goes to Asst. Prof. Faaiz S.
