World Tourism Day is celebrated every year on September 27th to recognize India's natural beauty and raise awareness about the importance of Tourism in the Young brains. India is one of the top tourist attractions for visitors from all around the globe. Hence tourism holds so much importance in India, both in cultural and economic terms. The theme for National Tourism Day 2024 is "Tourism and Peace".Keeping in view the same, we at Samarth College Of Engineering and Management Belhe celebrated Tourism Day. On this occasion we have organised a Guest Lecture on "Tourism and peace" by Prof. Mrs. Sarode V.B. 65 students attended the function enthusiastically.

POWERPOINT PRESENTATION COMPETITION ON TOURISM: Indian Heritage Sites " ‘पर्यटन से धरोहर की ओर: युवाओं के कदम भारतीय संस्कृति की ओर” was organized by YUVA TOURISM CLUB, M.K.Amin Arts & Science College and College of Commerce, Padra( The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, Gujarat) on 20 Sept, 2024, Friday at Gangamani Auditorium of M.K. Amin College, Padra. The PPT Competition on the theme of Indian Heritage Sites, highlighting India's rich Cultural and historical legacy. A TOTAL 31 TEAMS each including 2 individuals participated in the competition. The students prepared persuasive presentation that showcased diverse Indian Heritage Sites emphasizing their historical significance, architectural splendor and cultural growth. A total of FOUR PRIZES were awarded to the the Winners. In real sense all these activities under the roof of Yuva Tourism will lead to the accomplishments of the objectives of the Ministry of Tourism and Yuva Tourism Club and finally the Creativity, innovativeness, entrepreneurial and some managerial skills will increase in the students. Teacher's day marks the birth anniversary of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishna-the Former President of Indian. Teacher's day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya New Panvel 5th September 2024. On the accession of Teacher's day students teacher observed the work of the Higher Secondary Section. Students of class XII Arts, Commerce and Science taught class XI and XII students. The lessons were conducted as per the scheduled. The efforts of all the students were appreciated. Total 98 students are participated.

With the blessings and constant encouragement of our respected Principal – Prof. (Dr.) Dhanesh Patel, and efforts by Dr. Ashish Guruji- Coordinator, Yuva Tourism Club, Polytechnic, a visit to EME Temple (Dakshinamurti Temple) was organized on the auspicious day of Teachers’ Day in order to enhance the knowledge of students and cultivate interest towards our heritage buildings and tourism. The details of the visit is as follows - Date: September 05th 2024 (Thursday) Time: 6:15 PM to 7:45 PM Objective of the visit: The visit was aimed to sensitize the students about our heritage and Unity in Diversity. Participants: Total fifteen student participants and four Teachers from Yuva Tourism Club, Polytechnic participated in this visit. Description: During this visit, Ashish Guruji, Rakhi Moghe and Bhavna Solanki shared the information about structural uniqueness of this temple, which is inclusive of five major religions of India- Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Budhdhism and Jainism. They explained spiritual significance of this temple and concept of Gotras in Hinduism. All participants visited the premises and attended Aarti. After this visit a short online quiz was conducted to reinforce their learning.

Objective of the Heritage Walk The primary objective of the heritage walk was to familiarize participants with the historical significance, architectural beauty, and cultural heritage of Savitribai Phule Pune University. The walk aimed to provide an engaging and educational experience, fostering a deeper appreciation for the university’s historical legacy among the participants. 3. On 06th July 2024, The YTC members of the Amity University celebrated ‘Van Mahotsava’ along with ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ with a successful plantation drive at the University campus Chhattisgarh. Planted Neem, Saal, Jackfruit & more for a greener future. Prof. (Dr.) Piyush Kant Pandey, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Chhattisgarh, emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship.
