School Innovation Council of Kendriya Vidyalaya CISF Bhilai today on 17/1/24 organised a talk by the expert from schools as January activity. Mrs Shweta Upadhyay Masters in Environment Management and Education , Director at Rsustain private limited company , Writer and Educationist was the expert of the day. Assistant Commissioner of KVS RO Raipur Sh. Ravindra Kumar along with the Principal of the school Mrs. Bhubneshwari also graced the occasion. Students were enlightened on how to be creative in thinking as this is the demand of the day. First and foremost the students should overcome their gadget addiction , social media addiction followed by their attitude to search on google for any question given in the school to solve.She emphasised that students read a lot of literature and enrich their knowledge. Then there should be ability to think independently and put one’s thoughts in words. This is the primary step towards being creative. Students were told to come out of their comfort zones, shun their fears and stretch their arms to fly in the sky of creation and success. It is a creative person who can make a place anywhere in the world.She further guided students to be disciplined and develop time management skills can only enable the students to do more than the daily routine work. Finally she said this is the best time when they can design their lives for achieving excellence in whatever field they wish to endeavour. The talk ended with vote of thanks by Mrs Geetu, convenor of SIC.

On the occasion of National Tourism Day 2024, the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, Silvassa office hosted a musical heritage walk for the students of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Daman and Govt. Degree College, Daman on 25th January 2024 to the Fort of Moti Daman. Almost 50 students joined the walk to learn about the heritage, art, and architecture of the Moti Daman Fort. Few students scribed poems on the walk and few played the songs with guitar. The main aim of organising the musical heritage walk is to create *Sustainable Journeys and Timeless Memories*

The students created beautiful posters using Microsoft presentation and described all the tourist destinations of the DNH & DD.

शासकीय महाविद्यालय टोंकखुर्द जिला - देवास में दिनांक 25 जनवरी 2024 को राष्ट्रीय पर्यटन दिवस के अवसर पर युवा पर्यटन क्लब द्वारा राष्ट्रीय पर्यटन दिवस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। जिसके अंतर्गत युवा पर्यटन क्लब के माध्यम से निबंध प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई। निबंध प्रतियोगिता का विषय "भारत में पर्यटन का उज्जवल भविष्य"। इस निबंध प्रतियोगिता में विद्यार्थियों की सहभागिता रही ।युवा पर्यटन क्लब के द्वारा निबंध प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं का चयन महाविद्यालय कमेटी द्वारा किया गया ।जिसमें प्रथम स्थान पर दिपीका पिता दरियावसिंह मालवीय का रहा ,दूसरे स्थान पर माही पिता देवकरण मंडलोई तथा तीसरे स्थान पर आरती पिता सतीश प्रजापति का इस निबंध प्रतियोगिता में स्थान रहा ।इस संपूर्ण कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ. शिवा पटेल ने तथा आभार डॉ.बबीता अग्रवाल ने माना। इस आयोजन में महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. राजेंद्र कुमार भेवंदिया ने राष्ट्रीय पर्यटन दिवस के अवसर पर पर्यटन के महत्व तथा पर्यटन में रोजगार की संभावनाएं जैसे विषय पर संबोधन दिया। इस कार्यक्रम में डॉ.प्रमिला शेरे , डॉ. लक्ष्मीचंद्र मालवीय ,श्री सावन सोलंकी तथा महाविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों की उपस्थिति रही ।

Amidst ongoing examination in school we at KV Cisf Bhilai decided to celebrate Natiional Tourism Day on two days-24th January and 25 January 2024 . Today on 25th January various programmes were organised under the able leadership of the Principal of the Vidyalaya Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari. A colourful dance programme was performed by the students of middle classes under the guidance of Mrs Ekta Pandey , TGT- Maths. It was followed by a quiz on various tourist spots in India prepared by Mrs Geetu -PGT Biology . The students were enlightened about the importance of tourism in holistic development of personality by the principal Mrs. Bhuvaneswari and also by Dr. Pankaj Shukla convener of theYUVA tourism club .Last but not the least ,it was a day full of learning and enjoyment for every one present there.

The theme for National Tourism Day 2024 is "Sustainable Journeys, Timeless Memories". The theme emphasizes the concept of responsible and mindful travel Keeping in view the same, we at Kendriya Vidyalaya CISF Bhilai celebrated Tourism Day. Various competitions like Poster Making ,Slogan Writing , drawing painting Competition on various Tourist Destinations of India were organised. Students from classes 1 to 12 participated enthusiastically. 65 students made posters, 50 students submitted slogans and 10 students made drawings.
