On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru Office inaugurated the "Travel for Life" campaign at the historic Boganandishwara Temple, Chikkaballapur. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Yuva Tourism Club members, tourism stakeholders, officials of Karnataka Tourism, India Tourism, and local Guides, who collectively took the Travel for Life pledge to ensure the cleanliness and preservation of tourist sites. Additionally, a cleanliness drive was organized at Boganandishwara Temple, Chikkaballapur aiming to raise awareness about cleanliness and the vision of a garbage free city. A total of 100 participants, including members of the Yuva Tourism Club, tourism stakeholders, officials from Karnataka Tourism, India Tourism, and Guides actively contributed to the event.

As part of World Tourism day , Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru office in association with Kristu Jayanti College had organized Global Village 2023 on the theme “ Tourism and Green Investments” for Yuva Tourism Club Members on 27th September 2023. The fest showcased the various theme based models on sustainable Tourism.The main objective of the this fest is to showcase the talent in the young generation for the future world.More than 200 Yuva Tourism Club Members from Bengaluru participated in the event

As part of World Tourism Day celebrations, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru office organized a Travel Trivia, Extempore competition for the Yuva Tourism Club members of Karnataka Public School, Kanakapura on 22nd September 2023.Yuva Tourism Club members actively participated in the competition and the winners were awarded.

Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru office in association with the Department of Travel and Tourism, Mount Carmel College in the fest, “IRE Questa,”as part of the world Tourism Day celebrations. The event was attended by more than 600 students of travel and tourism, members of Yuva Tourism Club and other travel stake holder. Mr Manoj Kumar IFS, Managing Director of Jungle Lodges and Resorts graced the event as the Chief Guest. Mr Mohamed Farouk, Director, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, was the Guest of Honor.The event saw panel discussions and the administration of the Travel For Life Pledge. Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru Office, put up an information kiosk to disseminate information about the different tourism products of Incredible India.

On the occasion of National Tourism Day 2024, District Tourism Officer of Srikakulam gave a seminar on the significance of this day and highlighted the theme - Sustainable Journeys, Timeless Memories by encouraging the club members to adopt responsible practices during their travel and also asked them to promote such practices in their social media.
