As a part of World Tourism Day, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India Bengaluru office inaugurated the "Travel for Life" campaign at the historic Chennakeshava Temple in Belur, Karnataka. The event was attended by members of the Yuva Tourism Club, tourism stakeholders, officials from Karnataka Tourism and India Tourism, as well as local guides. An awareness rally was organized to promote the cleanliness and preservation of tourist places and monuments. The participants took the Travel for Life pledge to ensure the cleanliness and preservation of these important tourist sites. In addition, a cleanliness drive was organized at the Chennakeshava Temple in Belur with the aim of raising awareness about cleanliness and promoting the vision of a garbage-free city. A total of 210 participants actively contributed to this event.

Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) - Bangalore in association with KSTDC celebrated the Swachhata Hi Sewa-2023 with theme Garbage Free India at Bijapur which was among the 108 locations identified by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Sri Buddha School, Kalingapatanm in coordination with Yuva Tourism Club organized aesthetic activities on the occasion of National Tourism Day 2024. Principal gave the seminar to create the awareness among the children regarding the importance of Tourism and how great India is, being a tourist attraction for many foreigners. He also stressed upon the notion of India being diversified with rich heritage cultures and traditions, and how lucky we are to be born in India.
