The Millet Cooking Competition was organized by the Yuva Tourism Club of Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Krishnan Koil. They have celebrated the International Year of Millets from 13th to 15th September 2023 by creating an awareness and showcasing the innovations in millet-based cuisines. Also it showcased the talents of Catering Department students and emphasized the importance of sustainable and nutritious food choices in today's world.

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India Bengaluru office organized an educational tour for Yuva Tourism members of St. Claret College Bangalore to the Soliga Tribe of Chamarajanagar district to gain first-hand knowledge of their cultural heritage and raise awareness of social entrepreneurship and responsible tourism practices.

Yuva Tourism Club of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Narimedu, Madurai has visited the Archaeological site Keezhadi on 15.09.23. The students gained knowledge about the excavation site and the evolution of man from stone age period through a video show. Also, they were involved in cleaning activities in and around Keezhadi.

Yuva Tourism Club and Department of IT of Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education organized an Eco Tourism trip to Kochi on September 9,2023. The students had a good experience and knowledge on the culture, food, and architectural aspects of Kochi. A team of 112 students and 3 faculty members participated in the trip.

The students performed inaugural pushpanjali dance and other tradition dances Bathukamma, Bonalu etc . Travel Trade from Telangana across India officials of Tourism & Culture Department saw the cultural performances and appreciated the students.

ITO Bengaluru office in association with KSTDC organized "Chinnara darshana" Bengaluru City tour for the students of Yuva Tourism Club, Kendriya Vidyalaya & MEG Center Bangalore on World Tourism Day and AKAM Tourism Iconic Week 2022. As a part of the tour, YUVA tourism club members visited various iconic monuments & museums of Namma Bengaluru. This event is organized to educate students about the history, culture, infrastructure, and more about the city of Namma Bengaluru. Karnataka Tourism Society supports the event.

As part of Swachhta Action Plan program (SAP)Yuva Tourism Club National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Hyderabad organised a SAP activity at Shilparamam Arts and Crafts village in Hyderabad on 2nd September, 2023. During this SAP activity, students engaged in various initiatives aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental awareness. They performed Nukkad Natak (street theater) and danced to effectively convey the message of the "No Plastic" campaign. Additionally, the students conducted a Swachhta awareness survey, gathering valuable feedback from the visitors.

Dental Checkup Camp was conducted for Yuva Tourism Club of Sri Buddha School at Srikakulam. During this occasion, club members and students were educated about the precautions need to be taken to keep teeth healthy and the benefits of using the naturally available Neem as a tooth brush (whenever available) was highlighted among the students.

Field trips give the opportunity to blend the learning with our real life. YTC students of Unicent School, Kompally, Hyderabad were thrilled to observe the weaving process in Boodhan Pochampally village on August 7 which is the National Handloom day. They were mesmerized with the warp and weft designs in Ikaat style, a contemporary style of weaving originated in the South-east countries. Images of takli, charka and handlooms turned into reality. The officials also explained the history of the village and how the Boodhan movement initiated by Vinobha Bhave saved the lives of weavers. Children could also absorb the simplicity of weavers, who create wonders in fabric.
