Travel for LiFE Action - Plantation at School Campus

Yuva Tourism Club of Sarvani Vidyalaya took an action under the Travel for LiFE by participating in the plantation programme at their school campus.

KVR Govt. College for Women and Govt. Vocational Junior College, Kurnool

Plantation drive at Water Heritage Site - K. C. Canal Aqueduct across Handri River, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh

As per the Ministry of Jal Shakti declaration to conduct Plantation drive at 75 Water Heritage sites nationwide, Yuva Tourism Clubs of KVR Govt. College for Women and Govt. Vocational Junior College organized a plantation programme at the area near K. C. Canal Aqueduct across Handri River at Kurnool.

Awareness about World Nature Conservation Day 2023

To create awareness among the Yuva Tourism Club members and students about the World Nature Conservation Day, Sri Buddha School of Kalingapatnam conducted drawing competition on the theme "Conserve Nature - Conserve Life". Students of VI, VII, VIII and IX actively participated in this program empowering creativity within.

Yuva Tourism Clubs in Telangana

Plantation Programme & Eco Walk at Water Heritage Sites

Ministry of Tourism Hyderabad office in association with ASI Hyderabad, YTC Shantinekathan School Hyderabad and Shri Shakthi College of Hotel Management Hyderabad organised a Plantation drive and Eco Walk near Golconda Fort water tank system on 31st July, 2023. As a part of the activity students planted the saplings, organised an Eco Walk inside the fort. The students also took the pledge and signed the Travel for LiFE pledge. Around 120 YTC students along with officials from ASI and IT Hyderabad actively participated in the plantation programme.

Kargil Vijay Diwas Event

Yuva Tourism Club Members along with National Cadet Corps of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Anna Nagar organized a Program titled "Mission Life" on the eve of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Mr. J. Anand, NCC Officer has been invited as Chief Guest. He delivered a Speech on Kargil War. Around 150 students attended the Programme.

Kargil Vijay Diwas Event

Yuva Tourism Club of Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management organized a solemn event on Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26th July 2023. This is to honour the brave soldiers who sacrificed during the Kargil War. Students and faculty gathered to pay homage to the courageous souls who laid down their lives for the nation. As a tribute to true heroes, rangolis were decorated with colourful patterns, and students also designed posters with a motto of respecting solider's sacrifice and commitment to protecting our motherland. More than 60 students and faculty participated in the event.

International Day of Yoga

On the occasion of International Day of Yoga 2023 celebrations ( Ninth Edition ), the Southern Regional Office , Ministry of Tourism organized a Yoga demonstration program jointly with the Vivekananda House at the Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Chennai on 21st June 2023 . Swamiji. Ragunayakananda, Director, Vivekananda Cultural Centre and Swami Dharmishtananda, Manager, Sri Ramakrishna Math were the Chief Guests for the IDY celebrations. Around 250 Yuva Tourism Club Students from Kendriya Vidayalaya Schools of Anna Nagar, Meenambakkam , DGQA , Ethiraj College and AM Jain College actively participated in the Yoga Demonstration program, organised by the Yoga Trainers from Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Chennai. Yoga Mats, T Shirts, Caps, Souvenirs and Certificates and refreshments were given to the Students.

Chennai Light House Visit

The Southern Regional Office, Ministry of Tourism has arranged a trip for Yuva Tourism Club Members to Light House, Mylapore, Chennai on 21st July 2023 as mentioned by Hon'ble Prime Minister in his 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat- 100 days of Action Plan. Around 100 students from Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools of Anna Nagar, Island Grounds and Ashok Nagar participated in the Light House visit. Students enthusiastically learnt about the significance of light house and its functioning.

Moon Day celebrations

As part of International Moon Day celebrations, the students of Government Senior Secondary School, Kavaratti Island, Lakshadweep participated in a familiarization visit to Kavaratti Science Museum and Planetarium on July 20, 2023. The Yuva Tourism Club members witnessed a 3-D show demonstrating the first human landing on the Moon and highlighting remarkable achievements in space exploration by mankind to etch a lunar legacy.
