Travel for LiFE Campaign - Bicycle Rally

As a part of Travel for Life campaign ZPHS Gummalaxmipuram has conducted a bicycle rally for Yuva Tourism Club members and students to promote a sustainable lifestyle and to encourage the use of bicycles for short commutes.

Unicent school Kompally

Tourism Seminar

India tourism Hyderabad, Ministry of Tourism organised Travel and Tourism seminar through an Audio-visual presentation for Yuva Tourism Club students in Unicent School, Kompally, Hyderabad on 24/08/2023. The presentation highlighted the various tourism products of India ranging from Heritage, Wellness, Wildlife, Luxury, Adventure etc. The session also included opportunities in Tourism Sector, Travel For Life Campaign of the Ministry of Tourism. The students were encouraged to travel and explore nearby tourist destinations and share their travel experiences. Dekho Apna Desh postcards and Ek Bharat Sresta Bharat bookmarks were presented to the students. The students and teachers took the Lifestyle for Environmental pledge. Around 70 students actively participated in the session.

On the Telugu Language Day Yuva Tourism Club of Shantiniketan High School In association with IT Hyderabad office on 29/08/2023 has organized Telugu Poetry writing competition and Recitation of poetry with the students. And also the students had been thought about the importance of the Telugu language.

Yuva Tourism Club of Tagore School, Srikakulam celebrated Raksha Bandhan at their school by tying a Rakhee to a tree while the club co-ordinator sensitized on the significance of a tree and recognized it as a brother for all the girls members of the club

Telugu Bhasha Dinostavam Celebrations

Yuva Tourism Club members and students of Roshni Ratnam E.M. High School, Nellore celebrated Telugu Language Day (Telugu Bhasha Dinostavam) on 29th August 2023. The day marks the birth anniversary of Sri Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy, who popularized Telugu language among the common people by writing in a style that could be understood by all. Students recited poems from Mahabharata and enacted bhuvanavijayam drama.

A plantation drive was done by Yuva Tourism Club members on 9th Aug . Conducting a plantation drive is a positive initiative that involves planting trees and other vegetation in a designated area in the college . On this occasion the Principal addressed the students "Plantation drives should be an often event as it addresses environmental concerns such as deforestation, habitat loss, and air pollution."
