National Unity Day

Indian Institute of Hotel Management in association with Ministry of Tourism Hyderabad Office organised National Unity Day. On 31st October 2023. The students took pledge. More than 100 Yuva Tourism club students of IHM Hyderabad participated in the event of National Unity Day.

Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management

FIT Swachhata Freedom Walk

The Yuva Tourism Club of Shri Shakti college of Hotel Management in association with Ministry of Tourism Hyderabad Office has organised Swachhata Freedom Walk from Begumpet Airport to CGHS Begumpet Hyderabad on 30th October 2023. The walk is conducted with Travel for Life pla cards to inspire locals to adopt exercise as a way of life and to be healthy as well as to keep their surroundings and tourist places clean. Staff and more than 50 students actively participated in the Fit India Swachhta Freedom Walk.

FIT Swachhta Freedom walk

As a part of International Chefs Day celebrations, Indiatourism Hyderabad in association with Yuva Tourism Club IHM Shri Shakti has organised Swachhata Freedom Walk near Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad on 18th October 2023. The walk is conducted with Travel for Life and Swachhta pla cards to inspire locals to adopt exercise as a way of life and to be healthy as well as to keep their surroundings and tourist places clean. Staff and more than 100 students of IHM SHRI Shakthi, Officials from ITO Hyderabad actively participated in the Fit India Swachhta Freedom Walk.

Swachhta Hi Seva

IHM Hyderabad in association with Ministry of Tourism Hyderabad Office organised Swachhta awareness and swachhta hi seva at Salarjung museum. On 21st October 2023. The students have cleaned the surroundings. The event is followed by Salarjung Museum walk. More than 50 Yuva Tourism club students participated in the event.

Dr. YSR National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management

Swachhata Awareness Campaign

Dr. YSR National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management, in association with Ministry of Tourism Hyderabad office have organised a Tourist Awareness Program on the background of Swachhata Action Plan on 14th October 2023 at Lumbini Park Hyderabad. This program was mainly focused on No Plastic Campaign and creating Awareness about Reduce, Reuse and Recycle of the products for protection of Environment and Nature. Swachhta awareness pamphlets have been distributed to the visitors by the students. The students has performed a Nukad Naatak for creating awareness in the public and also given speech about how plastic is harmful for the Environment. Cleanliness drive placards have been carried throughout the program. More than 40 Students have actively participated in the event.

Yuva Tourism Clubs in Telangana

Swachhata shramdaan

Yuva Tourism Clubs Telangana in association with Ministry of Tourism Government of India Hyderabad office in collaboration with ASI Ramappa, YTC Schools and colleges organised 'EkTareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Saath' A national call to action for 1 Hour of citizen-led shramdaan for swachhata on 1st October, 2023 at 10 am near parking area, RamappaTemple, Mulugu. The students, officials and village community cleared the garbage and plastic waste in the parking area of the Ramappa Temple. Officials from ASI Ramappa, Mulugu district administration, Palampet Panchayat serpanch, and more than 100 YTC students, teachers, guides, actively participated in the cleanliness drive.

Yuva Tourism Clubs in Telangana in association with Ministry of Tourism, Government of India Hyderabad office in collaboration with Telangana Tourism, Bhongir Municipality, ATOAI TS chapter, Rock climbing school Bhuvanagiri, YTC Schools and colleges organized Swachhata Shramdhan on 1st October 2023 near the Entrance and Steps, Bhongir fort, Yadadri District. The students and officials cleaned the surroundings and removed plastic waste. Additional Collector, Yadadri District; Chairman of Bhongir Municipal Corporation and district administration, Telangana Tourism officials, Miss Anvitha Reddy, Brand ambassador of Bhongir Municipality, Yadadri District officials along with more than 150 YTC school & college students participated in the cleanliness drive.

Yuva Tourism Clubs in Telangana in association with Ministry of Tourism Government of India Hyderabad office in collaboration with ASI Golconda, YTC Schools and colleges organised 'EkTareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Saath' A national call to action for 1 Hour of citizen-led shramdaan for swachhata on 1st October 2023 at 10 am nearStepwell, Naginabagh, Golconda fort,Hyderabad.The students and officials cut the grass, cleared the bushes and removed plastic waste. Ms. M.Poorna, the youngest female to climb Mount everest joined for Swachhata Shramdhan and encouraged the students to keep tourist places clean, more than 250 YTC students actively participated in the cleanliness drive.

A Trip to Mahabalipuram

• Initially, the young ambassadors of the Yuva club, paid a visit to “Mahabalipuram” in Chennai to know & learn about its significance. Mahabalipuram in particular consists of so much information on the history of Tamil Nadu and the weight it adds to the culture of India is humungous, the pallava dynasties built this town of the 7th and 8th centuries with monuments that is comparable to that of the Taj Mahal and the New Delhi, so many temples were built to show their dedication they had towards the god, Hence, Mahabalipuram was constructed. The place was a conglomeration of culture, tradition, sculpture, architecture, that gave us a good feast to our eyes and took us through the lives of our brave kings who ruled diligently and honestly. We explored more about the Pallava king’s dynasty. The lives they led, the architecture they established, the roads they laid, the kingdom they reigned, the war they fought, the culture they spread spoke volumes about their magnificent rule.
