Indiatourism Chennai, Southern Regional Office in collaboration with Yuva Tourism Club of AM Jain College, Chennai organized an Event for Two days 23.01.2024 and 24.01.2024 on the eve of National Tourism Day Celebrations. The first day on 23.01.2024 featured competitions (Quiz, Chart Paper Painting, Speech and Paper Presentations) fostering creativity and the second day 24.01.2024 conducted Seminar titled “Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable in Tourism Industry. Around 300 students participated in the above programme. This seminar contributed valuable insights to the discourse on sustainable Tourism and successfully merged education and advocacy for a greener approach to the tourism industry.

Toc H Public School observed National Tourism Day with such enthusiasm and planned diverse trips to different parts of Kerala and southern India. Taking an oath in the school assembly further emphasizes the significance of responsible and respectful tourism. It reflects a commitment from the students to appreciate and preserve the cultural heritage of the places they visit, as well as to be responsible travelers. This kind of initiative not only fosters a sense of unity and pride in one's culture but also promotes awareness about the importance of sustainable tourism practices. Such activities contribute not only to the educational and cultural development of the students but also to the promotion of tourism as a means of fostering national unity and understanding.
