Report on Yuva Tourism Club Event at Kendriya vidyalaya, Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. On July 21, 2023, the Ministry of Tourism Government of India (North region) organized a Yuva Tourism Club event at Kendriya vidyalaya, Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. The event was attended by students from grades 7-10th. The event began with an introduction to the Yuva Tourism Clubs, its importance and need and about scope, types and possible tourism activities in the state to promote economic development, growth, culture, cuisines & handicrafts of Jammu & Kashmir. The students also took the Travel for LIFE pledge, which is a commitment to promoting sustainable tourism. The Travel for LIFE pledge includes promises to: Respect local cultures and traditions Protect the environment Support local businesses Travel responsibly The event concluded with a speech by Mr. Rajender Kumar, Coordinator & faculty of the School. He spoke about the importance of sustainability for tourism and the importance of Yuva Tourism clubs. The event was very successful and the event helped to raise awareness of sustainable tourism and the importance of tourism for economic development to the students.

Kendriya Vidyalaya SSB Gwaldam (Uttarakhand) organized a local visit to promote tourism awareness among student and also to promotes tourism awareness among young people.The local visit was a great way for students to learn about the tourism potential of the Gwaldam area. It also helped them to appreciate the natural beauty and cultural heritage of their own state.Overall, the local visit was a great success. It was a fun and engaging activity for students, and it helped to promote tourism awareness among young people. The students were very happy with the visit, and they learned a lot about the Gwaldam area. They are now more aware of the tourism potential of the area, and they are eager to visit again in the future.

Kendriya Vidyalaya SSB Gwaldam (Uttarakhand) organized a painting competition on the theme of "Tourism in Uttarakhand". The competition was organized by the Yuva Tourism Club, a student-led club that promotes tourism awareness among young people. The competition was open to all students of Kendriya Vidyalaya SSB Gwaldam. The students were asked to paint a picture depicting any tourist destination in Uttarakhand. The paintings were judged on the basis of creativity, originality, and technical skill.

Students of Government Model High School Chandigarh Sector 17 were taken to the Chandigarh's Oldest police station – the city is less than 60 years old but the first police station in this area was constructed hundred years ago. It was constructed during the British period. The station was named ‘CHANDIGARH’ by the first president Dr. Rajendra Prasad in 1950. This police station was renamed as ‘Traffic Police Station’ in 1994.
