Guest Lecture on Tourism and Front office

Mr. Mohit Gupta delivered a guest lecture to Yuva Tourism Club of MRA DAV School, Solan on "Tourism and Front Office." Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kangra

Heritagte tour to Kangra Valley Railway Station

On August 26, 2023, members of the Yuva Tourism Club formed in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kangra in which the students from Ladakh under the migration policy were taken for a tour of the Heritage Kangra Valley Railway Station. After reaching there the Station Master Mr. Deshraj told all the students how to control the train and after that the students were told how the engine starts. Apart from this, how it is run, the students were also informed about the history of this railway line.

Exhibition on religious places and Classification of Hotels

The Yuva Tourism Club of MRA DAV Public School showcased religious miniature structures and hotel classifications at the Exhibition on Religious Places and Hotel Types. Students creatively depicted iconic Indian religious sites while presenting a diverse range of hotels, emphasizing their significance. The event effectively highlighted India's cultural heritage and hospitality industry.

Chandigarh, Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education conducted a poster making activity for the Yuva Tourism Club students on the theme of Tourism. The initiative was taken by the teacher incharge for Yuva Tourism club of the school.

SAY NO TO PLASTIC.

On 22.8.2023, As part of J&K Midnight Marathon to make people aware on Safe Drive Save Life, Women Safety Women Empowrrment and Clean Green Jammu, one Nukkad Drame has been performed by Govt. M.A.M. College specially on SAY NO TO PLASTIC in the mission to make Jammu, the cleanest Tourism City of India in next five years with a constructive formation of YUVA TOURISM CLUB green mission Jammu.. The activity was done at popular Kachhi Chawni Chowk, Jammu by the administrative support and august presence of Principal MA.M. College, Prof. Mr Vishal and SHO Pacca Danga Police Station..Approax 78 people of different age was present in the session..

Food Festival.

On 19.8.2023, DG (Tourism) and the Regional Director (North) visited Andhra Bhawan, Bikaner House Rajasthan, Garvi Gujarat Bhawan, and Goa Bhavan, where they engaged with tourists enjoying the ongoing food festival from 18-20 August 2023. Additionally, members of the Yuva Tourism Club from Kamal Model Sr Secondary Public School also attended the Andhra Bhawan Food Festival and shared their experiences. The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, organized the food festival across more than 20 State Government Bhawans, offering a diverse culinary experience.

Educational Tour.

The members of YUVA Tourism Club Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School, Uttam Nagar , New Delhi participated the Educational tour at India Gate and National War Memorial. It was a very enriching and knowledgeable experience for the students to attend National War memorial located at India Gate circle. Students also got the opportunity to learn about different battles fought in different years and story about the sacrifices life of brave soldiers. The students also got the opportunity to attend the Food Festival organised at Andhra Pradesh Bhawan at Ashoka Road under the Azadi Ka Amrat Mahotsav. Director General Tourism and The Regional Director (North) warmly welcomed our YTC members and provided insightful details about the festival, scheduled to run from August 18 to 20, 2023.

Teej Celebrations

GMSSS (NYC) 23A Chandigarh, The festival of Teej was celebrated in school with great joy and enthusiasm. The whole atmosphere was very vibrant and energetic. There was an active participation from both students and staff. Different activities were conducted like folk dance, mehndi and nail art, etc . Swing rides, exhibition, food specially chat stall and games were main attractions. Beautiful rangoli was made in the entrance. Yuva Tourism Club board was also decorated on theme of Saavan and Teej. Students of Fashion Designing and Yuva Tourism Club made arrangements of decorations with help of teachers.

Chandigarh, The Yuva Tourism Club students of Saint Soldier international School sector 28 were involved in a Collage Making Activity on the theme 'Incredible India'. And along with a debate was conducted on the topic Positive and Negative Impacts of Tourism. The students actively participated in both the events with great enthusiasm.
