యువటూరిజం క్లబ్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో క్షేత్ర పర్యటన
యువ టూరిజం క్లబ్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో క్షేత్ర పర్యటన మరియు శాసనాల పరిశీలన ప్రభుత్వ డిగ్రీ కళాశాల మధిర నందు యువ టూరిజం క్లబ్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో క్షేత్ర పర్యటనలో భాగంగా మడుపల్లి గ్రామ శివాలయాన్ని సందర్శించడం జరిగింది. క్రీస్తుశకం 11వ శతాబ్దానికి చెందిన తూర్పు చాళుక్య రాజు రాజరాజ నరేంద్రుడు ఇక్కడ తను సాధించిన విజయానికి గుర్తుగా శివాలయాన్ని నిర్మించాడు. ఇక్కడ ఉన్న శివుణ్ణి రాజరాజ నరేంద్ర స్వామి అని పిలుస్తారు. ఇక్కడ శివలింగం బ్రహ్మ సూత్రం కలిగినది మరియు త్రివిధ నందులతో పాటు విజయ స్తంభం పాతి ఉంది. ధ్వజస్తంభం పక్కన గల నందీశ్వరునిపై బ్రహ్మీ లిపిలో శాసనము, సూర్యచంద్రుల గుర్తులు చెక్కి ఉన్నాయి. గర్భగుడి చుట్టూ రాతి గోడల పై వివిధ జంతువుల గుర్తులు చెక్కి ఉన్నాయి. వీటన్నిటిని విద్యార్థులు ఎంతో ఆసక్తిగా పరిశీలించి రికార్డు చేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో విద్యార్థులతో పాటు కళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్ ఎం. రవీంద్రారెడ్డి, వైస్ ప్రిన్సిపాల్ జి. అరుణ, యువటూరిజం క్లబ్ కోఆర్డినేటర్ డా.ఎస్. ఇందిర, అధ్యాపకులు నాగరాణి, శివకుమారి, షేక్ అఫ్రోజ్ , సురేష్ పాల్గొన్నారు.

A.M. Jain College, Meenambakkam
Swachchta Pakhwada 2024
On 22nd September 2024, Indiatourism Chennai joined hands with A.M. Jain College, Meenambakkam to organize an Awareness & Cleaning Campaign at Vandalur Zoological Park, Chennai as part of Swachhata Pakhwada (16th-30th September). The event was inaugurated by Forest Range Officer Mr. Deiva Sharma, Biologist Mr. Kamaraj, and Forester Mr. Chandramouli, and saw the enthusiastic participation of more than 150 Yuva Tourism Club members and faculty from A.M. Jain College, along with the Tamil Nadu Forest Department. Together, we cleaned the Zoological Park and raised awareness about the importance of keeping our environment clean and green.

San Academy Velachery
Swachchta Pakhwada 2024
On 21st September 2024, Indiatourism Chennai, in collaboration with San Academy, Velachery, organized a successful cleanliness drive at Thiruvanmiyur Beach, as part of the Swachchta Hi Seva campaign! This initiative also commemorated International Coastal Cleanup Day, reminding us all of the importance of protecting our coastal ecosystems. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Ameena, Vice Principal of San Academy, and well-coordinated by Mrs. Nalini Shanmugam and Mr. Alex Mahiban, Yuva Tourism Coordinators. Over 120 enthusiastic students from San Academy rolled up their sleeves to clean the beach and raise awareness about keeping our environment clean and green.

Celebrating National Space Day in style On 23rd August 2024, the Ministry of Tourism, Southern Region Office, Chennai organized an exciting visit to the B.M. Birla Planetarium for 50 enthusiastic Yuva Tourism Club students from Kendriya Vidyalaya Minambakkam, Chennai. The students had a blast exploring the wonders of astronomy and space science through interactive shows and galleries They even watched a fascinating show about our solar system. This visit was an incredible opportunity for these young minds to learn, grow, and get inspired by the magic of science and mathematics.

Through their artwork, these students sent a strong message to the world: "Let's unite to save our planet and be responsible stewards of nature."

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat event on 27 September 2024
On 27th September 2024, auspicious event of World Tourism Day celebration and “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat" initiative, I.H.M. Ahmedabad YTC assisted in the organisation of Gujarati and Chhattisgarh a vibrant food festival. The event included dance performances representing both the states followed by Gujarati and Chhattisgarhi lunch. The event was attended by Hoteliers, School Principals of education institutions and Tourism industry stake holders. The festival fostered cultural exchange through, allowing participants to experience the culinary diversity of both states, promoting unity and enhancing tourism through a celebration of India’s rich food heritage.
