Tree Plantation on the Occasion of World Tourism Day 2024
Celebrating World Tourism Day 2024 - Tree Plantation Activity *Organized by:* Yuva Tourism Club, Vishwakarma University, Pune *WTD Date:* 27th September 2024 *Event Date*:-24 September 2024 *Time:* 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm *Location:* Vishwakarma University Campus, Pune *Objective:* To commemorate World Tourism Day 2024, Yuva Tourism Club aimed to promote environmental sustainability and responsible tourism practices through a tree plantation activity. *Activity Details:* - Total Participants: 40 - Trees Planted: 30 - Tree Species: Mango,Neem, Ashoka etc. *Event Highlights:* - Welcome and Introduction by Mr.Nishant Sureshkumar Sutare, Faculty coordinator, Yuva Tourism Club - Inaugural Plantation by Ms.Anushka Hingane and Ms.Vaishnavi Patil,President and Vice President Yuva Tourism Club,Vishwakarma University. - Participants planted trees in designated areas - Awareness session on importance of tree plantation and sustainable tourism - Interactive discussion on eco-friendly tourism practices *Outcomes:* - Enhanced awareness about environmental conservation among participants - Contribution to a greener campus and community - Promotion of sustainable tourism practices among youth *Conclusion:* The tree plantation activity successfully achieved its objective, fostering a sense of responsibility among participants towards environmental conservation and sustainable tourism. *Future Plans:* Yuva Tourism Club plans to: - Monitor and maintain the planted trees - Organize regular eco-friendly initiatives - Collaborate with local communities for sustainable *Acknowledgments:* - India Tourism,Ministry of Tourism,Govt.of India -Vishwakarma University Administration - Faculty Advisors - Participants *Prepared by:* Mr.Nishant S.Sutare,Faculty Coordinator Yuva Tourism Club,Vishwakarma University,Pune.

World Tourism Day Celebrations at Govt. Degree College for Women Begumpet
World Tourism Day Celebrations at Govt. Degree College for Women Begumpet. The celebrations kicked off with an Elocution competition, where students passionately expressed their thoughts on the year's tourism theme. This was followed by an Article Writing competition, which encouraged participants to reflect on how tourism can foster sustainable development. Creativity came to life in the Poster Making contest, where students showcased their artistic interpretations of tourism's role in environmental conservation and heritage preservation. A Quiz competition tested participants' knowledge of global tourism trends, landmarks, and cultural heritage, sparking excitement and learning. The day's activities concluded with a thought-provoking Debate, where students engaged in a lively discussion about the pros and cons of tourism in today's world. The World Tourism Day celebrations provided a platform for students to demonstrate their skills and deepen their understanding of the global impact of tourism, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and responsibility in promoting sustainable tourism practices.
