On 10.2.23, the students of Yuva Tourism Club at Government Senior Secondary School, Minicoy Island, Lakshadweep visited the renowned Blue Flag Beach of Minicoy, Thundi Beach and the Tourist Hut. A clean up activity was also organized at the venue.

As part of National Tourism Day celebrations, Yuva Tourism Club of Government College of Arts and Science, Kadmat Island, Lakshadweep in association with the Central Nodal Agency for Sustainable Tourism organized a Sensitization Session on “Travel for LiFE campaign” of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The students were briefed about the Travel for LiFE Campaign of Ministry of Tourism and the role of Yuva Tourism Clubs in supporting the effective implementation of the campaign.

On the occasion of National Tourism Day, the Yuva Tourism Club members of Government Senior Secondary School, Kavaratti island, Lakshadweep performed a Street Play (Nukkad Naatak) on the theme, "Island and Tourism" highlighting the need to keep the islands clean by taking steps to curb plastic pollution, thereby promoting responsible tourism. On the occasion of National Tourism Day, an interactive session was organized on "Adventure Tourism in Lakshadweep" by the Yuva Tourism Clubs of Kavaratti in association with the Department of Tourism Development and Department of Education, UT of Lakshadweep. The students were sensitized about the prospects of adventure tourism in the islands of Lakshadweep. An orientation was also given on the various watersports equipment used for recreational purposes. The Yuva Tourism Club members of Government Senior Secondary School, Kavaratti and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kavaratti attended the session.

Yuva Tourism Club members actively joined their hands in beach cleaning programme at Matsyalesam beach under the guidance of District Tourism Officer, Srikakulam along with the State Pollution Control Board. The cleanliness awareness is conducted on the occasion of upcoming World Environment Day to keep the beaches and its surrounding clean. Pledge on plastic control and environment cleanliness was taken during this beach cleaning drive.

On the eve of the Buddhapurnima, India Tourism Hyderabad, Ministry of Tourism organised on 05th May 2023 Ananda Mahabhodhi walk at Mahabodhi Buddha Vihara, Hyderabad with YuvaTourism Clubs Shri Shakthi College of Hotel Management and Shridi Sai Baba School. The walk was led by Mr. Chetan General Manager Mahabhodhi Buddha Vihara and Srinu IITG. The GM and the guide has taken the students for the tour around the Buddhist Monastery and explained about Buddha teachings, importance of Buddhism in Andhra and Telangana.

Indiatourism Hyderabad organised Yuva Tourism Clubs awareness meet with private schools in Hyderabad at Paryatak Bhavan on 29th April 2023. HMT addressed the YTC awareness meet gathering and highlighted the importance of tourism clubs in Educational institutions. HMT also encouraged the institutions to organise tourism activities with students in the schools. Assistant Director IT Hyderabad gave a presentation on Tourism clubs and showcased the YTC promotional activities organized by existing YTCs. Asst.Director also requested the Principals/ Head of the institutions/ School Association heads to form the YTCs in their respective schools. Two hundred officials from private schools participated in the event.

Heritage walk was organized on 18th April 2023 as a part of World Heritage Day from Charminar to Ashoorkhana covering famous Laad bazar, Mecca Masjid, Jama Masjid, Unani Hospital, Charminar Kaman, Kali Kaman, Machili Kaman etc. The students from DBR College, Indiatourism officials &guides, ASI officials participated in Heritage walk.
