Poster making competition

Maharishi Dayanand Adarsh Vidyalaya Chandigarh, In observance of the World Heritage week, a poster making competition was oragnised with the Yuva Tourism Club students of Maharishi Dayanand Adarsh Vidyalaya Chandigarh. Around 35 students participated in the competition organised. Best out of which were selected and price winners were selected.

Government Model High School Sector 19

Poster Making

On 20th November 2023, as part of the World Heritage Week celebrations, as per the guidance received from the Ministry Of Tourism (North Region) field office Chandigarh. The Yuva Tourism Club of Government Model High School Sector 19 conducted Poster Making and Slogan writing activity in the school as on 20th November 2023, out of which the best were selected and displayed on the notice board of the school.

Heritage walk

Yuva Tourism Club of Hansraj Model School, Punjabi Bagh, orchestrated a heritage walk at Jahaz Mahal and Qutub Minar. The participating students, ranging from classes 10 to 12, were enriched with traditional and cultural insights about the monuments, courtesy of the knowledgeable guide, Mr. Raj Kumar Verma, who skillfully imparted information during the guided tour.

Essay Competition on the Importance of Tourism

On November 30, 2023, the Yuva Tourism Club of Himalayan Public School, under the esteemed guidance of Principal Ma'am Mrs. Deepshikha Miyan, organized an Essay Competition on the topic "Importance of Tourism." This initiative aimed to foster awareness among students about the multifaceted significance of tourism and its impact on the global landscape. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various grades, who eloquently expressed their understanding of tourism's role in economic development, cultural exchange, environmental conservation, and job creation. Heritage walk

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India (North), Students from the Yuva Tourism Club of Suraj Bhan D.A.V School, Vasant Vihar, organized a heritage walk at Jahaz Mahal and Qutub Minar. The participants, comprised of students from classes 10 to 12, were led by guide Mr. Raj Kumar Verma, who imparted traditional and cultural knowledge about the monuments during the guided tour.

Heritage walk at the monuments on the celebration of World Heritage Week

In observance of World Heritage Week from 19th - 25th November 2023, The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Field office Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh organised a Heritage Walk in the Bada Imambara and Rumi Darwaza in collaboration with the Yuva Tourism club members of Government Hussainabad Inter College, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. About 60 YTC students and coordinators and staff took part and later took Travel for a life pledge too.
