On the occasion of World Heritage Week- 23rd November 2023 , The Ministry of Tourism Field Office, Shimla Himachal Pradesh (North Region) organised ’Painting competition’ event on the topic of World and Indian Heritage Monument and State Tourism logos in collaboration with the Yuva Tourism Club of JNV Kangra District. Total 40 students participated in this event. The Principal of JNV Kangra school encouraged students the importance to know more about Indian Heritage and Monuments.

Delhi view allOn the occasion of Global Launch of Travel for Life in accordance with the World Tourism Day – 2023, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India (Northern Region – Jaipur) organized Heritage Walk from Jantar Mantar to Hawa Mahal on 27th September, 2023. The Walk was started after administering the Travel for LIFE pledge by the participants. Around 60-70 participants including Yuva Tourism Club members (students of Institute of Hotel Management, Jaipur), Officials of Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, State Archaeology Department, Gujarat Tourism, Madhya Pradesh Tourism, Jaipur Virasat Foundation, Guides etc. participated in the aforesaid walk. The guide educated the participants about the rich cultural and architectural heritage importance of the en-route places viz. Uday Singh Ji ki Haveli, Atish Market, Tripolia Gate, Brij Mandir and Hawa Mahal etc. IT Jaipur distributed Incredible India logo printed Caps to the participants and also arranged refreshments.
Rajasthan view allIn observance of World Heritage Week – 2023, India Tourism Jaipur (Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India) organized Tourism Educational Tour to B.M. Birla Auditorium & Albert Hall Museum (Jaipur) for around 180 Yuva Tourism Club members of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sikar. The students explored the monuments and spread the message about the preservation and safety of the cultural heritage and monuments of the country.
