The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Field office Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with The Yuva Tourism Club members of PM Shri KV Gomti Nagar, 2nd Shift, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh organized a "Painting competition" on 25th November 2023 as part of World Heritage Week celebrations. The Painting competition, held on the theme of ‘Indian Heritage and Monuments'. Students also learn about and appreciate the rich cultural and historical significance of their own country.

Uttarakhand view allIhm gwalior organized a heritage trip under the yuva tourism club. association members of 15 group of students with coordinating faculty members visited orchha palace fort and other associated heritage places like raja ram mandir and betwa river. in this trip a program coordinator explained various historical facts and also gave awareness about fort architectural designs. this trip helped the young mind of students to acquire the knowledge about the cultural heritage of Bundala region.

Uttarakhand view allFrom November 18th to 20th, 2023, the My Way Journey Organization, Sant Rawool Maharaj College, Kudal, and Eureka Science Center collaboratively organized a three-day winter camp at Tilari-Dodamarg Conservation Reserve. Approximately twenty-one nature lovers, ranging in age from 10 to 55, from Kolhapur, Sangli, Ratnagiri, Lanja, and Thane participated in this camp. On the first day evening, participant visited sacred grove of Perne, The participants were given a thrilling experience of the night trail and information about different types of of insects and spiders. Participants experienced trekking at Kasainath Mountain in the morning session, and they had the opportunity to witness a variety of species of birds. Subsequently, during the evening session, details on the hydroelectric project on Tilari Dam were presented, and during the night session, participants had the chance to examine the significance of the Tilari conservation reserve and its biodiversity. They also had a practical session on Light trap technique to study moths and other insect species. The Biodiversity Heritage Site is the only freshwater swamp region in Maharashtra, known as Myristica Swamp, was visited on the third day. Following this, we visited Ashok Sita Deorai in Hiwale village. where we spotted Malabar Great Hornbill, Malabar Pied Hornbill, and Malabar Gray Hornbill. Through this visit, nature lovers truly realized the significance of Sacred groves in nature conservation Overall, all participants got an opportunity to learn about different types of insects, spiders, birds, animals, and their habitats, as well, they could also experience the rural lifestyle a bit closer.
Maharashtra view allCelebrating World Heritage Week on November 25, 2023, the Ministry of Tourism Field Office in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, collaborated with the Yuva Tourism Club of MRA DAV School, Solan. The event showcased the rich heritage of India, featuring a captivating presentation by the students. They highlighted the significance of India's heritage and made handmade historical monuments. The school's Principal motivated students to promote tourism and explore these cultural gems.
