Mini Food Festival

Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru office in association with IIHM Bengaluru organized a Mini Food Festival on the theme 'Flavours of India' on 22 September 2023, as part of World Tourism Day celebrations. The festival was also organized to promote the International Year of Millets and emphasize their importance in today's life. The Yuva Tourism Club members of IIHM Bengaluru actively participated in the competition.

cleanliness activity at Lalbagh, Bengaluru

Ministry of Tourism Government of India Bengaluru office in association with IIHM Bengaluru organised a cleanliness activity at Lalbagh, Bengaluru on 23 September 2023 to create awareness about swachhta and Garbage free City. A total of 50 participants comprising the Yuva Tourism Club members of IIHM, students, faculty of IIHM and officials of India Tourism participated in the event.

Painting Competition

As part of World Tourism Day celebrations, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru office, in association with Jain University, Bengaluru, organized a Painting Competition for the Yuva Tourism Club members of Jain University on September 22, 2023. The painting competition was conducted on the WTD 2023 theme 'Tourism and Green Investments'. The students actively participated in the competition.

Travel for LiFE Workshop (23 September 2027)

Alok Public School Silvassa, UT of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu hosted a Travel for LiFE workshop for the Yuva Tourism Club on 23rd Sep, 2023 at the School campus. Students watched the Travel for LiFE Video and took the Travel for LiFE Pledge to make India one of the sustainable tourism destinations in the world and be a responsible traveler.

Members of Yuva Tourism Club of G D Goenka Public School, Karkarduma New Delhi organised a Responsible Tourism Workshop at Amarkantak with Collaboration of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board during One week World Tourism Day celebration. Following activities organised: 1. Cleanness Drive at Ramghat. 2. Awareness Programme about Clean Narmada among Tourists and Locals through Nukkad Natak at Kapildhara Waterfall. 3. Awareness Programme about Amarkantak as a Safe Destination for Women through Nukkad Natak at Kapildhara Waterfall.

Swachchta Pakhwada Rally

Yuva Tourism Club of IIHM Badarpur, members immersed themselves in the diverse and vibrant culture of India. They explored the rich heritage of the nation through a guided tour of Dilli Haat, marveling at exquisite handicrafts. Sustainable Tourism. YTC Members actively engaged in a Swachchta awareness rally, contributing to a cleaner environment. They pledged to "Travel for Life," promoting responsible and eco-friendly tourism. The Ministry of Tourism's initiative encouraged YTC members to support "Made in India" products. It aimed to foster a sense of pride in India's traditional craftsmanship. This event at Dilli Haat INA was a commendable step towards promoting cultural awareness, sustainable tourism, and supporting local craftsmanship.

World Tourism Week (Graffiti Competition)

The YTC members of the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM- Delhi) organized a significant event during World Tourism Week-2023. The event, a Graffiti Competition, was conducted under the banner of our "Yuva Tourism Club," and it brought together a diverse group of young students and enthusiasts to celebrate the spirit of tourism and cultural diversity. The Graffiti Competition took place today, and it was a part of our efforts to promote tourism awareness among the youth and engage them in creative activities related to tourism. The event was open to students from different years, and it aimed to encourage participants to express their vision of tourism through vibrant and eye-catching graffiti art. The participants displayed exceptional creativity and talent, producing stunning artworks that depicted various aspects of tourism, such as cultural heritage, natural beauty, and the importance of responsible tourism. The event was not only a visual treat for the spectators but also served as an educational platform where participants learned about the significance of sustainable tourism.

Onam Celebrations 2023

'Overflowing Nonstop Amazing Moments', yes true to this creative interpretation, our Tourism club made our Onam celebration festival vibrant. Following programmes were organised by the club. The traditional flower carpet was decorated with flowers from Thovalai flower market. Our kids also collected flowers from the neighbourhood to adorn the school. Vamanan and Mahabali were brought alive via fancy dressing of kids.Teachers treated the kids with their Thiruvathirakali dance number. Tug-of-war was the sports event and created a lot of energy.Onam is incomplete without payasam, which added to our post lunch appetite. Kids gave back their love to the teachers via their vocal chord exhibition of Onam songs. On the whole, vibe was added to vim, vigour and vitality!

Bangalore city Heritage Walk

As part of the Yuva Tourism Club activities, ITO Bengaluru office organized the Bengaluru City Walk for Yuva Tourism Club Members. The city walk started at Bengaluru's iconic building Vidhana Soudha and concluded at Cubbon Park. The main objective of the city walk was to provide an enriching and immersive tourism experience that deepened the understanding of the city's historical, cultural, and architectural significance. More than 30 Yuva Tourism Club Members from Bengaluru participated in the event.
