The 9th International Day of Yoga (IDY) was observed in Dnyanprassarak Vidyalaya by the Yuva Tourism Club (YTC) members alongwith other students in the presence of School Headmasters and YTC Co-ordinators and other teachers. The theme of this yiear IDY was “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutmbakkam”. During the session, Yoga exercises/aasanas were performed by the members of YTC along with other students. Mr. Vijay Kolwalkar, Physical Education Teacher guided students performing Yoga as Yoga Guru (Instructor).
Goa view allBhramanti Yuva Tourism Club and Aarogya Fitness Club of Goa College of Home Science, Campal Panaji organized the Yoga session on International Yoga Day dated June 21, 2023. Dr. Pankaj Sainekar was the Resource Person. He is QCI Level 3 certified; Ayush Ministry, Govt of India and Master resource person in yoga for all govt primary schools in Goa. He also holds Five world records in yoga(Surya Namaskar) Three are performing surya namaskar from sunrise to sunset. Two are performing surya namaskar from sunrise to sunrise. This year's theme for international yoga was "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam". 25 Members of Yuva tourism club along with teaching and non-teaching staff participated in the yoga session. Everyone felt that the session was very refreshing & relaxing for the body as well as for their mind.
Goa view allSpeech competition on Sustainable Tourism was held at Kendriya Vidyalaya Uttarkashi. The competition was a great success, Students participated will full of enthusiasm and passion. The speech competition was a great way to raise awareness of sustainable tourism among our students. I am confident that the knowledge and skills that the students gained from this experience will stay with them long after the competition is over. Uttarakhand view allIndia Tourism Mumbai organized an online exciting introductory session for the new Yuva Tourism Clubs in the Western region. YTC of KV Diu actively attended the workshop, where they had the opportunity to learn about the club's purpose and activities. The session also included a screening of "1857 India's First War of Independence to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mangal Pandey, a legendary figure in India's freedom struggle.

Indiatourism Silvassa celebrated the International Day of Yoga with all the Yuva Tourism Clubs of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu on 21st June with different YTC clubs. Alok Public School Silvassa participated in and celebrated the International Day of Yoga with 50 Yuva Tourism Club members.

On July 21, 2023, the Ministry of Tourism Government of India (North region) organized a Yuva Tourism Club event at Kendriya vidyalaya, Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. The event was attended by students from grades 7-10th. The event began with an introduction to the Yuva Tourism Clubs, its importance and need and about scope, types and possible tourism activities in the state to promote economic development, growth, culture, cuisines & handicrafts of Jammu & Kashmir. The students also took the Travel for LIFE pledge, which is a commitment to promoting sustainable tourism. The Travel for LIFE pledge includes promises to: Respect local cultures and traditions Protect the environment Support local businesses Travel responsibly The event concluded with a speech by Mr. Rajender Kumar, Coordinator & faculty of the School. He spoke about the importance of sustainability for tourism and the importance of Yuva Tourism clubs. The event was very successful and the event helped to raise awareness of sustainable tourism and the importance of tourism for economic development to the students.
Jammu & Kashmir view allAs part of International Moon Day celebrations, the students of Government Senior Secondary School, Kavaratti Island, Lakshadweep participated in a familiarization visit to Kavaratti Science Museum and Planetarium on July 20, 2023. The Yuva Tourism Club members witnessed a 3-D show demonstrating the first human landing on the Moon and highlighting remarkable achievements in space exploration by mankind to etch a lunar legacy.
