As part of the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative, The Yuva Tourism Club of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, organized a plantation drive on the university campus, making a meaningful contribution to nature conservation and strengthening support for the green movement. The program concluded with a successful poster-making competition, engaging students from diverse disciplines such as BBA, MBA TTM, NCC, Scout and Guide, and NSS. This creative platform provided an opportunity for participants to express their reflections on the importance of trees and the profound bond of motherly love.

The Indiatourism Field Office Dehradun, Uttarakhand collaborated with Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, thereby engaging 150 students and teachers of the School of Hotel Management & Tourism. The session provided hospitality students with valuable insights into the travel and tourism industry, covering various career opportunities. A key event spotlighted the "Dekho Apna Desh People's Choice 2024" campaign, with participants actively casting live votes for their favorite destinations. Additionally, the event also focused on sustainability, featuring the Awakening Jingle, promoting responsible travel, and encouraging participation in the "Pro Planet People" initiative. The occasion was #एक पेड़ मां के नाम #Plant4Mother drive by the faculty, students and guests at the Faculty of Arts, BHU, where in the plantation drive was undertaken. This drive was spearheaded by Sh. Pawas Prasoon,Assistant Director, Indiatourism Varanasi, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India who was the Chief Guest at the induction programme at BHU. He while planting the saplings called upon 1st year students to nurture the plants throughout their stay at BHU considering the special theme under which the drive was initiated.
