Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

IHM Shri Shakthi and Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management Yuva Tourism Clubs participated in 2 day learning & fun filled - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program organised by Rotary Club of Jubliee Hills from 19.04.2024 to 20.04.2024 . RYLA provides an effective training experience for selected youth and potential leaders. It builds leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Yoga session was organised for students to overcome the stress and maintain a healthy lifestyle as part of the training program. More than 75 students participated in the training program.

World Heritage Day Celebrations

Sahaj Marg Spirituality Foundation in association with Ministry of Tourism Hyderabad office organised World Environment Day on 5th June 2024. The event was held at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad. Participants encouraged towards sustainable tourism practices and travel for life initiatives of Ministry of tourism. More than 500 students, audience and visitors actively participated in plantation drive.

World Environment Day celebrations at Golconda fort

ollege of hotel management Hyderabad celebrated World Environment Day at Golconda fort on 5th June, 2024. As part of the event students and officials sensitised the tourists on environmental issues such as climate change, soil erosion, plastic pollution and distributed the plant seed balls to the tourists. More than 20 students actively participated in the event.

Yuva Tourism Club of P.V.K.N Govt. College (A), Chittoor participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in the streets of Chittoor town and called out to citizens to hoist the national flags on their houses during the occasion of Independence day.

Field Trip to Vaigai Dam

The Yuva Tourism Club of Hajee Karutha Rowther Howdia College organized a Field Trip to Vaigai Dam, Theni District, Tamil Nadu on 10.08.2024. A team of 42 students along with two staff members took part in the field trip. The trip was aimed at to induce interest in tourism and create awareness among the students in preserving the heritage sites of the Theni district. It was both educational and experiential learning for the students' community. It made the students to review the welfare schemes initiated by the State Government.

Since Aug 1st, the club members are demonstrating freedom fighters of the state & country in the morning assembly and on this day club members showed the role of women freedom fighters.
