Medak Cathedral at Medak in Telangana, India, is one of the largest churches in India and has been the cathedral church of the Diocese of Medak of the Church of South India since 1947. Originally built by Charles Walker Posnett British Wesleyan Methodists, it was consecrated on 25 December 1924. The biggest attraction of the cathedral are its stained glass windows depicting different scenes from Christ's life – Ascension behind the altar, Nativity in the west transept, and Crucifixion in the east transept. The windows were designed by Sir. O. Salisbury of England. The stained glass windows were installed at different periods. The chancel window depicting the ascension was installed in 1927, two years after the cathedral was built. The stained glass was arranged by the native of the village Mr. Peram Alexander . The nativity window was installed in 1947 and the crucifixion window was installed in 1958(After Taking Damage,Restored in 1979).

Ministry of Tourism Hyderabad office in association with YTC RBVRR Women's college, Hyderabad organised a workshop on Incredible India Tourist facilitator Certification(IITFC) program on 26th June, 2024. IITFC is a digital initiative of Ministry of Tourism where one can learn about tourism at their own time, space, path and pace. The successful completion of this programme would enable the learner to become a Certified Tourist Facilitator of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. Employment opportunities for students through IITFC and Tourism Courses are briefed to the students. Correspondent, Faculty and students participated in the workshop.

Students of VIVEKANANDA HIGH SCHOOL, Shivanagar Date: 20-09-2024 Friday On the day courtesy of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation and I.T.C As part of the Swachchatahi Seva campaign, a skit was presented to the students on the importance of cleanliness, segregation of waste and the method of using colored dust bins. Apart from that, the students explained the importance of cleanliness to the people of the school streets, waste segregation and the method of using colored dust bins and made them aware of the importance of environmental cleanliness. On the occasion of this program, school correspondent Shri K. Vijay Kumar Garu said that waste segregation facilitates the process of reuse, recycling and waste recovery. Waste segregation improves the recycling process. For example, separating wet waste from dry waste is an easy way to help recycling companies. It helps to recycle non-biodegradable waste and treat biodegradable waste directly. Since unhygienic surroundings are the cause of people's health problems, keeping the surroundings clean is everyone's responsibility and asked them to keep their home surroundings clean and maintain their health. School Principal G. Manohar Rao and teachers participated in this program.

This year, the IDY is celebrated with the theme “Yoga for self and society". Ministry of Tourism(Hyderabad), Chinna Jeeyar Trust swamijis, management, Indiatourism staff, Jeeyar educational trusts principles, ashram gurus, Ashram employees, more than 850 participants actively participated and performed the Yoga asanas.
