On 21st September 2024, Indiatourism Chennai, in collaboration with San Academy, Velachery, organized a successful cleanliness drive at Thiruvanmiyur Beach, as part of the Swachchta Hi Seva campaign! This initiative also commemorated International Coastal Cleanup Day, reminding us all of the importance of protecting our coastal ecosystems. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Ameena, Vice Principal of San Academy, and well-coordinated by Mrs. Nalini Shanmugam and Mr. Alex Mahiban, Yuva Tourism Coordinators. Over 120 enthusiastic students from San Academy rolled up their sleeves to clean the beach and raise awareness about keeping our environment clean and green.
