International Youth day
Indiatourism Hyderabad in Association with Yuva tourism club RBVRR college celebrated International Youth Day by sapling the plants in the campus and surroundings areas of college on 12.08.2024. The campaign exhorts people across the world to plant a tree as a mark of love, respect and honour for their own Mother and to also take a pledge for protecting trees and Mother Earth. More than 20 students participated In the camping and sapling the plants.

Rabindra Niketan High School
National Handloom Day
Yuva Tourism Club Rabindra Niketan High School, Erramanzil, in association with Indiatourism Hyderabad celebrated National Handloom Day on 07th August 2024 at ITO Hyderabad office. The Students were shown films on handlooms and informed about Pocham Pally, Dharmavaram, Narayanapeta, Venkatagiri, Bandar, Mangalgiri, Gadwal, Chirala, Ikat, Gollabama Sarees, Handlooms of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. At the end, the students were sensitised about Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and encouraged the students to hoist the national flag on their homes. More than 40 Students and teachers participated in the event.

Heritage Walk at Oriental ZP High School, A.P
Indiatourism Hyderabad in association with ASI Lepakshi, Mynaa Swami Publications and Yuva Tourism Club Oriental ZP High School, Balaji Degree college-Hindupur organised Heritage walk at Lepakshi Temple in Andhra pradesh on 30th July, 2024. By this heritage walk and monument visit students experienced about unique blend of Vijayanagara and Dravidian architectural styles. The temple was adorned with stunning sculptures, murals, and paintings, offered the students a chance to witness and study ancient Indian art forms. More than 100 students, officials from MoT Hyderabad and ASI Lepakshi, teachers and students participated in the Heritage Walk.

Heritage Walk at Tagore’s Home High School, Hyderabad
ITO Hyderabad in association with Yuva tourism club of Tagore’s Home High School organised a Heritage Walk At Rashtrapati Nilayam on 25.07.2024. By visiting Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad Students learned about the history of the building and its role in Indian governance. The architecture of Rashtrapati Nilayam is a blend of Indian and European styles, reflecting the cultural diversity and heritage of India. More than 80 Students and staff from YTC school, ITO Hyderabad officials and staff participated in the Heritage Walk.

Heritage Walk at Students High School, Hyderabad
ITO Hyderabad organised an awareness session on Telangana's heritage sites and festivals at Students High school, Gowliguda, Hyderabad on 19.07.2024. The awareness session helped the students to understand the important heritage monuments suchs as Golconda Fort, Charminar, Mecca Masjid, Warangal Fort, Ramappa Temple etc. More than 100 students, Staff and ITO Hyderabad participated in the event.

Ministry of Tourism, Hyderabad office in collaboration with ASI Ramappa and the Yuva Tourism Club Schools organized a Heritage Walk at World UNESCO World Heritage Site Ramappa temple on July 15th , 2024. More than 120 Students, Teachers from YTC ZPHS Palampet, Vyad Vyas schools, officials from ASI, ITO Hyderabad, Ramappa guides, travel trade participated in the Heritage Walk.

Indiatourism Hyderabad in association with ASI Charminar and Yuva Tourism Club of Santhinikethan school organised Heritage walk at Charminar on 10.07.2024. The Heritage Walk started from Charminar the landmark of Hyderabad covering the sites like Mecca Masjid, Laad Bazar, Gulzar Houz and ended at Badshahi Ashurkhana. యువ టూరిజం క్లబ్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో క్షేత్ర పర్యటన మరియు శాసనాల పరిశీలన ప్రభుత్వ డిగ్రీ కళాశాల మధిర నందు యువ టూరిజం క్లబ్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో క్షేత్ర పర్యటనలో భాగంగా మడుపల్లి గ్రామ శివాలయాన్ని సందర్శించడం జరిగింది. క్రీస్తుశకం 11వ శతాబ్దానికి చెందిన తూర్పు చాళుక్య రాజు రాజరాజ నరేంద్రుడు ఇక్కడ తను సాధించిన విజయానికి గుర్తుగా శివాలయాన్ని నిర్మించాడు. ఇక్కడ ఉన్న శివుణ్ణి రాజరాజ నరేంద్ర స్వామి అని పిలుస్తారు. ఇక్కడ శివలింగం బ్రహ్మ సూత్రం కలిగినది మరియు త్రివిధ నందులతో పాటు విజయ స్తంభం పాతి ఉంది. ధ్వజస్తంభం పక్కన గల నందీశ్వరునిపై బ్రహ్మీ లిపిలో శాసనము, సూర్యచంద్రుల గుర్తులు చెక్కి ఉన్నాయి. గర్భగుడి చుట్టూ రాతి గోడల పై వివిధ జంతువుల గుర్తులు చెక్కి ఉన్నాయి. వీటన్నిటిని విద్యార్థులు ఎంతో ఆసక్తిగా పరిశీలించి రికార్డు చేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో విద్యార్థులతో పాటు కళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్ ఎం. రవీంద్రారెడ్డి, వైస్ ప్రిన్సిపాల్ జి. అరుణ, యువటూరిజం క్లబ్ కోఆర్డినేటర్ డా.ఎస్. ఇందిర, అధ్యాపకులు నాగరాణి, శివకుమారి, షేక్ అఫ్రోజ్ , సురేష్ పాల్గొన్నారు.

Swachchta Pakhwada 2024
On 22nd September 2024, Indiatourism Chennai joined hands with A.M. Jain College, Meenambakkam to organize an Awareness & Cleaning Campaign at Vandalur Zoological Park, Chennai as part of Swachhata Pakhwada (16th-30th September). The event was inaugurated by Forest Range Officer Mr. Deiva Sharma, Biologist Mr. Kamaraj, and Forester Mr. Chandramouli, and saw the enthusiastic participation of more than 150 Yuva Tourism Club members and faculty from A.M. Jain College, along with the Tamil Nadu Forest Department. Together, we cleaned the Zoological Park and raised awareness about the importance of keeping our environment clean and green.

San Academy Velachery
Swachchta Pakhwada 2024
On 21st September 2024, Indiatourism Chennai, in collaboration with San Academy, Velachery, organized a successful cleanliness drive at Thiruvanmiyur Beach, as part of the Swachchta Hi Seva campaign! This initiative also commemorated International Coastal Cleanup Day, reminding us all of the importance of protecting our coastal ecosystems. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Ameena, Vice Principal of San Academy, and well-coordinated by Mrs. Nalini Shanmugam and Mr. Alex Mahiban, Yuva Tourism Coordinators. Over 120 enthusiastic students from San Academy rolled up their sleeves to clean the beach and raise awareness about keeping our environment clean and green.
