World Tourism Day with inauration of Travel for Life pledge and cleanliness drive
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India Bengaluru office inaugurated the "Travel for Life" campaign at the historic Chennakeshava Temple in Belur, Karnataka. The event was attended by members of the Yuva Tourism Club, tourism stakeholders, officials from Karnataka Tourism and India Tourism, as well as local guides. An awareness rally was organized to promote the cleanliness and preservation of tourist places and monuments. The participants took the Travel for Life pledge to ensure the cleanliness and preservation of these important tourist sites. In addition, a cleanliness drive was organized at the Chennakeshava Temple in Belur with the aim of raising awareness about cleanliness and promoting the vision of a garbage free city. A total of 210 participants actively contributed to this event.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Yuva Tourism Club members, tourism stakeholders, officials of Karnataka Tourism, India Tourism, and local Guides, who collectively took the Travel for Life pledge to ensure the cleanliness and preservation of tourist sites. Additionally, a cleanliness drive was organized at Somnathpura Temple aiming to raise awareness about cleanliness and the vision of a garbage free city. A total of 100 participants, including members of the Yuva Tourism Club, tourism stakeholders, officials from Karnataka Tourism, India Tourism, and Guides actively contributed to the event.
