In order to imbue in learners a fervour for exploring the physical environment, and technological aspects, students from classes IX and X were taken to ITC PSPD Lakshmi Puram Cloning centre, which is the largest plant cloning and research centre in India, students not only acquired knowledge of curricular concepts in basic biology, soil conservation, sustainable development and awareness and concern for environment issues, etc, but also gained insights into current topics of interest in cloning and genetic engineering, as well as related social issues associated with the farmers.

Kerala view allOn 14th October 2023,The members of the Yuva Tourism Club (YTC) from the Government High School in Chushul, a vibrant village located in the district of Leh, Ladakh, organized an exhibition to showcase the diverse birds and medicinal plants found in the Chushul area. The exhibition took place during a visit by a group of tourists to the school. During the visit, the YTC students also emphasized the importance of Chushul from a tourism perspective.
