As a part of World Tourism Day, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru Office inaugurated the "Travel for Life" campaign at the historic Pattadakal Group of Monuments in Karnataka. The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner, Bagalkote District, local MP, MLA, local panchayat officials, district administration officials, Yuva Tourism Club members, tourism stakeholders, officials of Karnataka Tourism, India Tourism, and local Guides. The participants took the Travel for Life pledge to ensure the cleanliness and preservation of tourist sites. Additionally, a cleanliness drive was organized at Pattadakal Group of Monuments with the aim of raising awareness about cleanliness and promoting the vision of a garbage-free city. A total of 220 participants actively contributed to the event.
