On the occasion of 10th International Day of Yoga, Yuva Tourism Club members and students of Sri Buddha School participated in the Yoga session at Kalingapatnam Lighthouse premises. Participants were explained the importance and necessity of Yoga and students were asked to do Yoga, Meditation and Pranayama everyday.

The students discussed the importance of yoga and also exhibited yoga postures and promised to introduce this activity in their daily lives.

Organized by the sports department in collaboration with local wellness centres, the event aimed to promote physical and mental well-being through yoga practice. Activities: The event commenced at 8:30 AM with a welcome address by the Respected Principal Sir, highlighting the significance of yoga in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This was followed by a mass yoga session led by experienced instructors, showcasing various yoga asanas and breathing exercises. Participants enthusiastically engaged in the sessions, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and relaxation. Educational Workshops: Concurrent workshops on meditation, Ayurveda, and holistic health provided deeper insights into yoga's benefits. Ministry of Tourism, Vijayawada office, Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with the Sunyatee International Foundation organized a Yoga & Meditation session at Amaravati Buddhist Center (which is also a Swadesh Darshan project site) located opposite to Dhyana Buddha Statue in Amaravati on the occasion of International Day of Yoga 2024. Yuva Tourism Club members of Amaravati actively participated in the Yoga & Meditation session along with the local people from the town including the officials from the AP Police department.

The 10th International Day of Yoga (IDY) was observed in Raipur Institute of Technology, Raipur by the Yuva Tourism Club (YTC) members alongwith other students in the presence of Honrable Secretary Sir, Principal sir, YTC Co-ordinators and faculties. During the session, Yoga exercises/aasanas were performed by the members of YTC along with other students. Physical Education Teacher guided students performing Yoga as Yoga Guru.
