Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam
As part of the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative, The Yuva Tourism Club of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, organized a plantation drive on the university campus, making a meaningful contribution to nature conservation and strengthening support for the green movement. The program concluded with a successful poster-making competition, engaging students from diverse disciplines such as BBA, MBA TTM, NCC, Scout and Guide, and NSS. This creative platform provided an opportunity for participants to express their reflections on the importance of trees and the profound bond of motherly love.

On 13th Sepetember, 2024 we had YTC inaguration session at GPT Chegunta. The honurable chief guest was Sri K. Chakravarthy, Principal GPT Chegunta. The interaction session was done between Faculty and Students. Students were very enthusistaic towards tourism. Smt. Ambika Varma, HOD, DEEE, Dr. E Pavan Kumar, Faculty Coordinator and Tanmyee Gori Stdent coordinator along with 26 club members participated in the programme.

It also focuses on Information on planned activities such as field trips, cultural exchanges.

Visit to EME Temple on 5th September 2024
With the blessings and constant encouragement of our respected Principal – Prof. (Dr.) Dhanesh Patel, and efforts by Dr. Ashish Guruji- Coordinator, Yuva Tourism Club, Polytechnic, a visit to EME Temple (Dakshinamurti Temple) was organized on the auspicious day of Teachers’ Day in order to enhance the knowledge of students and cultivate interest towards our heritage buildings and tourism. The details of the visit is as follows - Date: September 05th 2024 (Thursday) Time: 6:15 PM to 7:45 PM Objective of the visit: The visit was aimed to sensitize the students about our heritage and Unity in Diversity. Participants: Total fifteen student participants and four Teachers from Yuva Tourism Club, Polytechnic participated in this visit. Description: During this visit, Ashish Guruji, Rakhi Moghe and Bhavna Solanki shared the information about structural uniqueness of this temple, which is inclusive of five major religions of India- Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Budhdhism and Jainism. They explained spiritual significance of this temple and concept of Gotras in Hinduism. All participants visited the premises and attended Aarti. After this visit a short online quiz was conducted to reinforce their learning.
